Use these in a 6.5mm BR ...

Use these in a 6.5mm BR pistol and a 6.5x47 Lapua rifle. Both easily under 1/2 inch groups at 100. 6.5x47 is 1 1/4 inch's at 400 yards. using IMR 8208 for both loads. vert consistent ogive's and weight's. highly recommend custom comp's for 22, 6mm and 6.5mm calibers.

Made 1 Hole 3-shot group ...

Made 1 Hole 3-shot group at 100yrds with my Savage .260 Remington. Couldn't even measure it. I use Custom Competition in my .223 with same result. Just have to find the right load for it.

I shoot a 6.5 Grendel ...

I shoot a 6.5 Grendel about once a week and the Hornady 123g AMAX is my usual bullet with great results. However the availability of the AMAX is becoming scarce so I thought I would give these Noslers a try. I am kind of wishing I didnt. They look like a clone of the 120g SMK but lack the quality control of Sierras bullets. The tips are very inconsistent leaving a very large spread of OAL when seating. Hornadys AMAX bullets are always right on the money for me. There is no published load data for these so I started with load data for 120g SMKs, about 30.6g of AA2520 at 2.22 OAL. Results were not so good. Getting these bullets to max length was the key for me. Seated to 2.26 OAL is giving me 1/2 groups at 100 yards. Have yet to try these out further than 100 yards, but I think I will go back to AMAXs when I deplete my supply of these.
