I tried this bullet along ...

I tried this bullet along with 140gr MK and 140gr Amax and got the best groups out of the three with this bullet in a custom built 6.5-284 F-class rifle. 1 3/8 inch at 300 yds.

When I first looked at ...

When I first looked at the bullets I was impressed. After I started to weigh them I have another opinion. 140 must be a guide line because very few were 140. They were for most part within .2 of a grain with .5 being the worse. For just plinking I think they be great but if youre going to a match would be looking for another brand.

Great bullet! however; not really uniform enough to be called competition Bullets. I think Nosler just adds that word and charges a buck extra. Still a Great Bullet.

Excellent bullet it ...

Excellent bullet it shoots as well as competitors 140 grain offering which is about .5 MOA in my rifle. Cosmetically it lives up to Nosler's rigid standards.

I have used Nosler Custom ...

I have used Nosler Custom Competition Bullets for several years. I shoot NRA long range and NRA service rifle high power competition. These events require a bullet that has a high BC and will fly very true out to 1000yds (I do all of my testing at 600yds to 800yds). I use the Nosler custom competition Bullets in several calibers, (308 diameter) 155gr BTHP for Palma Shooting, 6.5mm (264 Diameter) 140gr BTHP in my 260 REM and 6.5X284 as well as the (224 Diameter) 69gr BTHP and 80gr BTHP for high-power shooting at 200yds 600yds. All of these bullets shoot as well or better than Sierra or Hornady match bullets. The J4 jacket is very uniform which gives the bullet a very true flight. If you are looking for a long range bullet with outstanding accuracy look no further than Nosler Custom Competition.

Does an outstanding job ...

Does an outstanding job at the range through both of my 6.5 Swedes (CZ 550 FS, and a custom EABCO barrel on a TC Encore). Much to my amazement I achieved a 1 1/4 in group at 200yards pushing this bullet with 45.5 gr of VV N 160 out of Lapua brass with the CZ 550 FS. Very good performance for the price.
