Varmints and predators beware! Nosler's ballistic Tip Varmint Bullets are designed for violent expansion upon impact. The bullet is tipped with a polycarbonate tip which rapidly drives back forcing the thin jacket to expand and fragment. The heavy base prevents deformation during firing and the boat-tail design increases the ballistic efficiency of the bullet. This is not loaded ammunition.

I use these bullets in my .223 and they are all anyone could ever ask for. At 100yds you can cover a three shot group with a dime every time out of my Tikka T3. But the real show is when they hit something. They werent lying about the violent expansion. Ive killed several groundhogs and coyotes and none of them took a step.

I shoot these out of my rem 700 .223 .950 groups at 200yrds and my rem 700 22-250 with a group of .756 at 200 yds. and my rem XR100 22-250 with a group of .628 at 200 yds. this is good enough for prairie dogs and wood chucks for sure! boy do they really splat those prairie dogs.

I have used many different brands of bullets and find Nosler to be the most accurate varmint bullets available. These are loaded in Nosler brass with CCI 400 primers with Varget powder for my Rem. 700 in 223 caliber and produce sub minute of angle accuracy for long range shots at coyotes. Very deadly with complete bullet blowup with no exit. Over 50 one shot kills with no lost animals. Outstanding performance in every way.

I have an old 788 Rem. in ...

I have an old 788 Rem. in .223 that is over 40 years old and is by far the cheapest and probably one of the most accurate rifles I own. I fell in love with the Berger 52gr. Match & Varmint bullets in my 22/250AI and they also shot well in the 788. However, in the .223 I felt they didn't perform on prairie dogs the way I had expected. I found that the 50gr. Nosler Ballistic Tip was every bit as accurate as the Bergers in the .223 but their performance on the prairie dogs was nothing short of spectacular. They are also a little cheaper than some of the other brands of bullets which is another plus we can all appreciate. I like'um and would recommend them to anyone.

I have never been disappointed with any Nosler bullets, and these are no exception. Loading them in 220 swift, and they are fast and accurate. Can't find a single thing to complain about here, buy Nosler and you won't have any worries.

Savage 12bvss in 22-250 with IMR4064. I had to use a lighter load with this bullet cause it shot hot but shoots a 1 inch group at 200yards. A better shooter could shrink that pattern. If I get good enough, I may try their match bullets but at the time, it shoots better than I'm able too. It leaves only a pin hole on both sides of ground hogs, but liquefies everything inside.

These are the best all around bullets I have found for my Rem. 700 SPS 22-250. Bullets are very accurate <3/8" groups at 100 yards. Devastating effects on animals at any size or range.

I have tried other varmint bullets with different combinations. This Nosler 50 grain gave the best accuracy. It will shoot a cloverleaf everytime. It drops coyotes with authority. It will never fail, no matter how fast you send it down the barrel. And when it gets to its target it won't fail there either...

I can't say enough about how well this bullet shoots. As in some of the earlier reviews, you can get outstanding groups. I'm using W748 with a 12 twist and you can knock 1/4" steel (6x6) square plate off a steal rail at 300 yrds and ring 1/4" steel and make it move at 500 yrds. So there should be enough energy to penatrate lite skinned critters at 500 yrds in my opinion, I recommend this bullet as well as recommend that you do some testing of your own. I think you will be suprised. Loads are around 3200 at muzzle.

I have been shooting them out of my super short 223 out to 400 yds, gets the job done. You're not gonna find a better bullet anywhere, also 1/2 inch groups at 100 yds, don't have no pd's here but sure tears the yoties and the jacks up!
