Varmints and predators beware! Nosler's ballistic Tip Varmint Bullets are designed for violent expansion upon impact. The bullet is tipped with a polycarbonate tip which rapidly drives back forcing the thin jacket to expand and fragment. The heavy base prevents deformation during firing and the boat-tail design increases the ballistic efficiency of the bullet. This is not loaded ammunition.

Recently started shooting ...

Recently started shooting a Savage LRPV in .223 Rem and began with a 52gr AMAX, with decent results at 100yds, but these Nosler's are very good. Apparently better quality control that results in increased rotational stability. First group of 5 was 7/32" and that was about half the group dia of the AMAX bullet. Consistently smaller groups. I am ordering 500 more right now!

I loaded these for my ...

I loaded these for my hunting AR after I experienced no expansion from the Hornady vmax's. Lost 4 coyotes. So I loaded these up and I have yet to lose an animal. Everything from fox to coyote this performs outstanding. Only left a little bit smaller than a quarter exit on a fox (nothing was left on the inside). On coyote did get a small piece to pass through but lungs and heart were gone. Second coyote shot had no pass through at all. Bang then immediately DRT just like the rest. Accuracy wise I am getting 1/2-3/4 in groups. I am still playing around with the load.

Shooting them at near ...

Shooting them at near 4000f/s (max load according to the nosler book:) with a 22-250, I dropped an antelope with a 436 yard heart shot last fall. Broke a rib on entry, trashed the heart and exited the far side intact.Need I say more?

Tested a lot of different ...

Tested a lot of different brands, but these are perfect in my Remington 700 VLS, with H322. If I do my job right, these consistently make one hole at 200 yds. Shoot these in my AR also. I love them. You should try them.

We use this bullet in several .223's. My wife routinely kills coyotes out to 300+ with a 700BDL. Very stable bullet, even down to 1 in 9 twist. Seems better in the 1 in 12. Best we've found so far.

I've only achieved groups ...

I've only achieved groups a little over 1" @ 100 yards but currently still working up reloads for testing.I shot a coyote with this bullet out of a .223 Remington 700, that was facing me at 40-50 yards. I shot it in the chest, the bullet exited right behind the right shoulder. The exit hole was about silver dollar size. However, the devastation underneath the hide was unreal! The shoulder blade was shattered and there was at least a 3" diameter hole exploded into the chest cavity! Yet that coyote managed to run 60+ yards before collapsing. I don't blame the bullet, it did a very effective job. That was one tough yote though!

Out of my CZ 527 Varmint ...

Out of my CZ 527 Varmint and Colt AR-15 HBAR, both with 9" twist barrels, this is the varmint bullet that shoots more accurately than HPBT match bullets. Can be used in any situation you need an accurate bullet with rapid expansion in the target.

Pushing this out of my ...

Pushing this out of my Rocket (220 Swift blown out with Weatherby shoulder radius) in excess of 3800 FPS and getting great accuracy, needless to say when a hit is scored on a varmint you have the "red cloud" out past 400 yards. Been able to score 100% hits to 300 yards off a bipod and 90% out to 500.

Most consistent and ...

Most consistent and accurate bullet I've experienced to date. Shot .6 MOA 5 shot group the first time I tried it. Confirmed the same load a week later shooting a .5 MOA. 20" AR, 1:9 twist. I'll be stocking up on this bullet.
