I've always been a Sierra ...

I've always been a Sierra bullet guy - and I still think they make a great product. I tried the Noslers just to see how they would work in a new 6.8mm SPC upper my son was building. I was shocked by how well they shot. At 200 yards, he had a 1 3/4" - 5 shot bench rest group from a 16 barrel using only a 1-4X tactical scope. Another group was 3" with an outlier but 4 shots were clustered into a 3/4" group. I haven't chronographed the loads yet so it may be luck that we hit a sweet spot for the new barrel. On the other hand, it's clear that the Nosler bullets delivered exceptional results. I've been back to buy several hundred more.

The Nosler was compared ...

The Nosler was compared head to head with Hornady Match 110 gr OPBT and Sierra Match 115 OPBT in ARs with Stag and Bison 6.8 uppers. We saw little difference at 100 yards in our initial test. All shot to the same POA. The Hornady produced slightly smaller groups from the Bison and larger groups in the Stag. The results of the Nosler and the Sierra were essentially identical. In these days with tight supplies it is nice to have two bullets that you can interchange. I reload the 6.8 with a pair (to simplify going between the large rifle and small rifle primed cases) Lee P1000 progressive reloaders and the Nosler reloaded flawlessly.
