I am going to have to redo the crimps on at least 500 LC 7.62x51 brass. For me, the tool absolutely did not do the job.Waste of money and time

This product is working very well for me removing crimp from military 30/06 brass. Reaming 20 cases takes about 10 minutes. The handle is 2" by 5/8", thumb and forefinger grip required.

Works as advertised. I used it to de-crimp KA 75 and PMC 73 military surplus 30-06 cases. It is sharp and cuts the crimp out nicely and fits the primer pocket well. If you don't want to buy a swager (probably the best way to remove the crimps), then this tool will do the job just fine. I did 50 cases in about 8 minutes, so it works fast as well.

This tool works very well. I was able to process 50 6.8 SPC cases with crimps in about 10 minutes using this by hand. Granted my fingers started to cramp just from holding the cases and turning but it removed the crimps very easily. The grip is a knurled aluminum and provides a secure grip. For me this product is just about perfect for the cost cheap, sharp and it works!

Simply works. I used it to add more bevel to primer pockets to ease priming. The handle is checkered to offer great grip, and it's wide enough to reduce fatigue. I like it better than the RCBS green plastic "non-slip" handle.

It is much easier to reload commercial brass than to reload military brass with the primer pocket crimp. But, when you have a large supply of used .45ACP military brass, you hate not to use it. I have had poor results when using an old reamer of another manufacturer. I purchased the Hornady and found I could chuck the reamer in my cordless drill. To ream I first seat the reamer so it touches the bottom of the primer pocket. Hold the case firmly and run the drill at low speed. A couple seconds does the job, a much better job than I ever got with my old hand reamer. A few cases may require a touchup. For these I put the reamer in the handle and do the touchup by hand. This is a quality product and does a good job.
