Crimson Trace Laserguards provide a pinpoint accurate laser each time you naturally grip the firearm, no fumbling for switches or buttons. Installation can be done in a matter of minutes and provides a custom fit over the trigger guard of your postol. In the front activation models, Instant activation occurs due to pressure applied by your fingers to the switch located on the forward side of the grip. Lasergrips produce a 1/2" dot at 50 feet and are a class IIIa Diode Laser (Non-hazardous to eyes under momentary exposure). The included batteries have a five year shelf life and have a four hour in use life.

Crimson Trace also extends one free set of batteries a year for life when you register you Crimson Trace product on the manufacturers website.

I was initially worried that this laser system would change the feel of the grip enough that I would not like it. My fears were unfounded. I hardly notice the laser when I grip the LCP. The grip is still very comfortable. The laser is narrower than the pistol itself, so it does not interfere with ease of carry.Because I carry my LCP in a back pocket wallet type holster, I was worried that sitting on it might shift the laser around or break it. The laser has proven surprisingly sturdy. Sitting on it off and on for weeks now has not changed the point of aim.The system is a snap to install, and point of aim is easy to adjust. I will offer an installation tip: Make sure you tighten the two screws enough to close the gaps between the plastic halves. This ensures the laser will not move around and change the point of aim.I am very pleased with this system and highly recommend it to anyone. It really helps in low light situations as the standard LCP sights are nearly impossible to see. I don't plan to ever take mine off.

I had some doubts after ...

I had some doubts after my initial installation of this product. Like some other reviews, I had minor problems w/the activation switch. After some practice, it started to become second nature. I tightened my grip and presented each draw as if it was a defensive situation...not a casual day at the range. After all, that is what this rig is for. Inside of 15 yds., this combination of LCP and CT is dead on! Out to 25 yds., I have about a 3" drop in elevation, but no change in windage (using Hornady Critical Defense). I am now very pleased with my choice and have a great deal of confidence in its reliability. My only recommendation is practice, then practice some more.

If you have long fingers, ...

If you have long fingers, make sure you try it before you buy it. I have long, knobby fingers. For the life of me, I cannot activate the switch with a normal grip. If the switch stuck out another 1/8" or was an 1/8" lower it would work for me. As it is, I have to radically change the position of my middle finger to get it to activate (essentially using my fingertip to activate it), lessening the purchase on an already limited grip, and making it completely useless in a high-stress situation.I'm sure its a great product if it works with your anatomy though.

Purchased for my wife's ...

Purchased for my wife's LCP. She thinks it's great. She had a hard time with the LCPs small sights and can now shoot consistently. So why the 2 stars you ask? Well the kit came with 2 wrenches and both of them were the wrong size. The allen screws and adjustment screws are .5 the wrenches were .25. It took me forever to find a small enough wrench to put the thing together and adjust it. 1 hour looking for the tool 15 minutes to put it together and adjust. At $179 should have the right parts and tools.

I have CT lasers on my ...

I have CT lasers on my J-frames and love them but no love here. The laser didn't stay on with a normal grip. The only way to keep it on was to squeeze the grip unusually hard. This design needs a more sensitive activation button. This CT laser was returned.

I absolutely cannot find ...

I absolutely cannot find a negative feature. The activation switch is in the perfect place, the light is nearly automatically "on". I have had mine for many months and I am still satisfied with the purchase. The laser is the best way to aim quickly, given the lack of true visible sights.

Very nice product. Easy to install, took me less than five minutes, and comes with the Allen wrench needed. Bought it for my wife's pistol but after using it I'm considering getting one my 380! Great quality at a good price. Beats trying to see those small sights with these older eyes...

Great product. Fits ...

Great product. Fits pretty well, easy to install and adjust. Comes with two of every tool you will need, including two lens cleaners. Came in a nifty box with a soft cloth container. The fit isn't PERFECT, but it is very good. Mine came with a nearly dead battery, the laser turns on bright, then gets VERY dim after half a second. 4/5 because of the dead battery.

Easy to install. Follow ...

Easy to install. Follow the directions, if the laser doesn't line up on top of your sights, start with adjusting it to that level, it's a good starting point instead of messing around with it for a few hours. Note: If you have big hands and the LCP is hard to shoot, these won't help you much - you still need good shooting practices (grip, trigger,etc) for these to be effective - to have quick acquisition of the target and an accurate shot.

I have had this on my LCP ...

I have had this on my LCP for about 3 weeks, I carry it everyday in my back pocket.I do a wide range of work from construction to office. I LOVE it, the gun and the laser sight.It still fits my holster and did not alter the feel of the gun.Approaching 50 my eyes needed the help. I HIGHLY reccommend this product!!
