Product Information

CCI is known in the shooting sports industry for producing reliable ammunition that delivers exceptional performance shot after shot. CCI shotshell ammunition is no exception. These loads are designed as a potent round for close range pest control and work well for dispatching nuisance vermin. These loads work great as rat shot, snake shot and close range plinking. These rounds work great in revolvers, but they may not function properly in semi-automatic firearms. Do not use these or any other shot cartridge in handguns having ported recoil compensators. This ammunition is new production and non-corrosive.

I really liked this product. If you are shooting them out of a handgun or a regular 22 rifle you are not realizing the round's full potential. They are not designed to cycle in a semi auto. I have a smoothbore Savage 22LR that is specifically designed to shoot 22 shotshell cartridges. At about 15 feet they have about a 1 foot spread. If you are shooting them out of a rifled barrel rifle or a handgun the will spread much quicker and the result is a reduced effective range. They work great on rats, snakes, mice, and small birds out to about 15 feet. I recently used them to dispatch several rats in my barn and they worked great. They patterned better than most 22 shotshells I have tried and they contain more shot (31 grains vs. 25 grains) Also because they use a regular stinger case, they fit better in most firearms. They do not use a lengthened case, which causes feeding problems and ejection issues. My only bone to pick with these rounds is that they are slightly more expensive than some of the other 22 shot cartridges, but they are well worth the few extra pennies.

O.K. for the money. Winchester crimped loads are better. Great for whacking carpenter bees that are gnawing your deck or sheds. Out of a 7" barrel at 8' spreads out to approx. 3' with most of pellets around the perimeter and not the center. Good for cotton mouths right next to your boat and I shot one that dropped in my john boat with no penetration but lots of blowback towards me. Better than a snakebite.

Great for rodent and bird control in barn, doesnt damage metal siding. Also works on small rabbits and skunks 10-20 feet away. Makes hitting ground squirrels easier. I use them in a single shot old remington bolt action, and dont have to worry about stray bullets. Great ammo.

The CCI are definitely the best because both Winchester and Federal get stuck in the chamber for each 22LR weapon I own which is a Ruger 10/22, Sig Sauer Mosquito, and CZ 455 American. They get stuck about 25% of the time and will not extract unless I either remove it with a cleaning rod or a pocket knife. I find little difference between Winchester and Federal. The CCI's cost more, but are worth it in my opinion. You do not want to be out in the field and suffer extraction problems 25% of the time. Also they do not cycle in my Ruger 10/22 or Sig Mosquito, but I didn't expect them too.

I bought some of these for my .22 revolver with a 5 1/2 inch barrel for pest control. These work great at close range, but anything farther than 20 feet and it more than likely wont die. I found this out when I shot a bird at that distance and when I picked it up it flew out of my hand! But overall very good shells

This ammo is pretty descent. Works best for mice and bee hives. Its a little more expensive than I think it should be but it feeds fine and I havent had any jams. But it can ricochet and hit you

Great round they dont get stuck in you chamber like the crimped ones do. I killed a bird 15 feet away and killed it instantly.

Great round for eliminating a hovering carpenter bee from a 6" model 17. A direct hit obliterates em. Anything close knocks em down. Kind of fun actually. These are a little quieter than the Winchesters.
