I have been using these for competition and all other uses for about 10 years. I have never had any issues with these magazine extensions and trust them with my life. They are a very well made product.

This guy goes together easy enough. It snaps together, but I left one fully loaded, and it didn't appear to hurt the plastic parts. The bottom is checkered, not all of it. The spring is nice and strong, just like the stock mags. Loading it the first few times is HARD. (just like stock mags.)The added takedown tool is a nice touch.

I purchased these to compete in IPSC shooting events. These have contributed to my winning edge, giving me more weight to control recoil, more rounds, and extra weight for fast drop free operation. The bases are overbuilt to withstand the repeated drop and run gunning in competitions. Cleaning these are the easiest of any basepads I have ever encountered. I have used these for over a year now and they still operate like new. Good job and well worth the money.

After a year or so of ...

After a year or so of using on a once a month basis (3rd Gen G22 40S&W), I encountered several Failure to Feeds using WalMart Federal Champion ammo. I will attribute this to the ammo as it is very inconsistent . I previously shot with Winchester USA FMJ and Blazer and Blazer Brass - never a problem with those rounds. However, would not give a 100% to anything other than a stock Glock Mag.

These extended bases are very easy to install and work with. They withstand a lot of abuse during matches and handle it. I find that the springs also are well-suited and I can usually get 20 rounds in a magazine, which is great.

I purchased these bases on a recommendation from a fellow USPSA Shooter and was amazed. They went on easy and make magazine maintenance a snap as compared to the difficult to disassemble stock base plate set up without losing any of the reliability or making me worry about losing a base plate. They allow me to carry 23 rounds but I have found I feel better with only 22 loaded unless it is critical for a stage. I have come to trust them so much that they are now on my carry mags as well. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a solid, well engineered and built product for sport, tactical, or defensive shooting.
