The Daniel Defense AR-15 Flash Hider is an A2-style design with elongated vents cut into its circumference and a closed bottom to keep dust and debris from being disturbed when firing from the prone position. The flash hider effectively neutralizes most muzzle flash for enhanced night vision and better shooter concealment in darkened environments. This extended model is long enough to bring a 14.5" barrel to a legal 16" length when permanently installed. Specifications:
