The construction of the Talley Lightweight Mount is unique. The rigid design has no joint between the scope and rifle. The Talley Lightweight unitized design eliminates the possibility of an "out of alignment" interface or "loose connection" between the ring and base of traditional two-piece design. CNC machined from 7000 series aluminum, known for its strength and durability.

I installed a Simmons scope on my Ruger 10/22 using the included rings. The scope would not hold zero and was often off by 6-8". It finally occurred to me that I use rings on my other rifles that cost more than this scope. I ordered a pair of these Talley rings and rezeroed. The scope has held zero perfectly since then (at least 6 months now). I highly recommend these rings. Go ahead and spend the extra money. These will prove to be more than worth it in the long run.

These Talley ring/mounts ...

These Talley ring/mounts work great on my 10/22 carbine. I use a 32mm objective and it has plenty of clearance over the rear folding sight. 40mm may not fit with the rear sight left installed. They look sleek, match the matte black finish on the receiver, and they are so true that I was only a couple clicks away from zero after first install. Never had that happen. I would definitely make the same choice again.

This scope mounting system is simple, elegant, and lightweight. The low height works fine for a 33mm objective scope on my bull-barreled 10/22.

These are lightweight, fit nicely, and seem strong. The low one worked fine with a 1.5-4.5x 20mm. It looked like it would work with a 40mm obj.

Mounted a 3-9 X34mm ...

Mounted a 3-9 X34mm Pride-Fowler Rapid Reticle scope on my stock 10-22, using this base/ring setup. I lapped the rings and torqued down the screws to 20 in/lbs. No windage adjustment at all was needed, only elevation, when zeroing! I don't know if it was luck, but I have NEVER had a zeroing session without touching the windage. This says alot for the straightness of the manufacturer's drilling. Rock solid mounting and great groups, at an affordable price. I would definately buy this again!
