I had to do a little ...

I had to do a little fitting,and got a good tight fit,took it to the range to sight in the scope,man i liked it at first,but after about a 100rds the cover got so sloppy,moving all around my grouping at best maybe 12inin dia. I don't see anyway to fix it.

Just received this today, ...

Just received this today, very pleased, did have to file a bit on the front, but it does state this in the instructions, just go slow, and check it often, once installed it is very tight no walk to it at all, functions nice, and can still use the steel sites, have not shot yet. We'll see how that goes this weekend. The finish is a bit dull, as previously stated, and actually the color does not even come close to matching. Overall I am very happy, Cant expect perfection for less than 20.00, and as I am cheap, this is a perfect piece

Was about 1/8" from ...

Was about 1/8" from fitting. Needed considerable filing on the front tabs to allow alignment of the rear pin. Hole for the rear pin was to small and needed to be re-drilled. Once re-drilled the shim inside the hole rotated and would not allow the locating tab on the rear pin to push through the slot. Had to press the shim out and rotate to proper alignment and repress. There is no provision to lock the mount to the receiver and scope needs to be re-zeroed after !0-15 rounds. Cast finish is very poor.

Bought this for my ...

Bought this for my Chinese Norinco SKS and it doesn't fit at all. My pin won't even fit in the hole. I also ordered the shell deflector and there are no bolts to bolt that on this bolt cover.

I do admit that the fit ...

I do admit that the fit was absolutely perfect for my Yugo sks, the finish so far seems well and scope rings are well made. What I am rating this product so low is that there is no way to keep the scope from moving with the receiver cover which has just a small amount of play left to right. If there was a way to keep the receiver cover from moving I would rate this considerably higher.
