The Power Custom Hammer and Sear Pack is an inexpensive and easy way to upgrade the performance of your Ruger 10/22. When properly installed, this kit produces a remarkably light 2-3/4 lb trigger pull. Fitting the sear to the safety will require hand stoning. Please note that without hand stoning, the safety will appear on but the rifle may still fire.

Please Note: Some Ruger 10/22 models will require the use of two Ruger hammer bushings for proper insallation (product 510559). 10/22's that already have separate hammer bushings will not need new ones as the factory ones can be re-used.

Notes:

This is a matched pair. Hammer and sear should be used together.

These parts are drop-in except the fitting of the sear to the safety. This requires hand stoning.

Without the hand stoning the safety will appear on but the rifle will still fire. Sear must be stoned to fit to make the safety work properly.

Drop in kit that produces a 2 ? LBS. Trigger pull.

EDM produced. Includes an Extra Power Hammer Spring, Extra Power Disconnector Spring, Replacement Trigger Return Spring, 2 Hammer Shims, & 2 Trigger Shims.

Does not work in the 10-22 Mag.

This is really a great ...

This is really a great product that provides a trigger pull as light as advertised. It is a shame that such a good product has such terrible instructions. Essentially there are no instructions with this pack other than replace the original parts with the new parts. I managed to make the assembly work properly, although the time it required could have been significantly reduced by even brief instructions. There are basically two tricks to the installation involving part removal order and a pin designed to assemble the sear / disconnector assembly before installation into the mechanism. If either of these points had been mentioned in the instructions, this product would be much less frustrating.

This kit has all the parts you need. Power Custom instructions are weak, but if you watch about three different videos on line several times should be a breeze. Works great, only took 30min.

WOW!!! I would give this 10 stars if I could. This makes for a nice crisp, light trigger. When I first installed it I thought it may be too light, but upon actually firing the rifle I found it to be perfect. I did not have to file the sear for the safety to work properly to work like it said you may. It also came with metal hammer bushings and a set of shims for both the sear and hammer. I could not be happier with this product and it's worth every penny!

Good item, quality materials. Takes about 45 minutes to install. It does lighten up the trigger and gives a more crisp feel. However, mine didn't feel like it was at the 2- 3/4 lbs pull that was promised. I'd say closer to 4 lbs. On the plus side mine fit with no hand lapping required. The instructions are vague at best. DO NOT rely on them if you need some reference. There are plenty of YOUTUBE videos that can walk you through the installation process.

This is a huge improvement over the stock 10/22 trigger. Liked it so much I bought one for my Charger as well. I had doubts that the Charger in particular would cycle properly with the stiffer hammer spring. But it performed flawlessly even with cheap bulk ammo. And with the stiffer spring the hammer really whacks the firing pin. I've had zero failures to fire even with the cheap ammo. That used to happen sometimes with the stock hammer spring. As noted by other reviewers, the manufacturer should spend a few minutes writing real instructions or at least telling us what each part is for. As it stands the installation is a bit of a lab experiment, although watching a video or two at YouTube is a big help.

I'd have to say the instructions are poor to very poor. It was hard for me to get the shims in as well but this is my first trigger job. That being said, WOW!! If you have a 10/22 this package is a must have. What a difference. Well worth the effort. I own several firearms and this is now one of my favorites.

I am not even close to a Gunsmith but this kit went in so easy and made such a difference in the trigger pull that I had to write this review. It only took me 45 minutes to install and my safety/sear relation required no metal removal. I would definately recomend this product to anyone that has a Ruger 10/22. Truly a drop in kit

My first 'trigger' job, but with patience and persistence, the final result is superb! Economical and removed ALL the 'click' of the trigger. Definitely lightened up the factory trigger without question. Very smooth and more enjoyable to shoot now.Included instructions indicate the pre travel is adjustable via a set screw, but this kit DOES NOT HAVE PRETRAVEL ADJUSTMENT(s) - That's the reason for the 4 stars vs. 5 stars. Would recommend.
