The Seal Pup Elite is a beefed up version of the Seal Pup with a thicker blade, longer handle and a rasp on the back of the contoured stainless steel blade. The AUS 8 Stainless Steel blade that is extremely durable and well designed for wide variety of tactical and survival tasks. The GRN handle is ergonomically designed for a secure grip in any condition. The partially serrated Seal Pup Elite comes with a nylon sheath and the plain edge version comes with a Kydex sheath.

Knife looks rugged and came VERY sharp. I need the saw edge for splitting bone and field dressing game. Sheath however was wrong size, and knife would not work in it. Called Sog and they said they would send me the right one . Not Midways fault at all. Otherwise would give this product 5 stars. Thank you.

Great nife. It comes above average on the sharp scale. It is light weight, rugged and has nice balance. The bond between the handle and the blade is really nice and solid. I use it mostly for a backpacking tool...cutting rope, carving, cleaning out fish etc. It is more than perfect for my needs. I have a KA-BAR USMC knife that I really like but this SOG has become my favorite.

Awesome knife, the best I have owned so far, it will cut anything and keep an edge very well. Also the Sheath that is supplied with it is great, it can be secured to any sized belt or webbing.

Great Knife, the sharpest knife I have ever owned straight out of the box. Makes cleaning a deer simple, you can even use it for filleting if you want to. Black Ti/Ni coating holds up very well, and pretty much eliminates the possibility of rust. The sheath is great, it holds the knife very securely and can be attached to nearly anything, and it also has an extra pouch on it you could store a multi-tool or mini survival kit in. SOG also offers a 9 dollar sharpening service, which is only to cover the shipping charge, and your knife comes back just as sharp as the day you bought it.
