The 25 Caliber 75 Grain Varminter was originally developed for cartridges such as the 250-3000 Savage, 257 Roberts, and others of similar capacity. After further testing, this bullet proved to be extremely accurate out of many other 25 Caliber cartridges and capable of handling even the highest velocities.

Great bullet . Here's a ...

Great bullet . Here's a load I got out of an old book for lead bullets . I know this is a jacketed bullet but this load works great. For very low recoil extremely accurate plinking it cannot be beat . The listed velocity is listed as 2030 f.p.s. so would knock a fox or coyote right over . I shot a squirrel with one and was hooked . The best part is when this rifle is sighted in with this same bullet at 3000 f.p.s. 2 inches high at 100 yards it shoots dead on with this load at the same 100 yards.

This is the most accurate bullet ever shot out of my Remington Sendero .25-06 period! I am very impressed on the quality of Sierra bullets in any caliber.

I also have used this and other Sierra bullets, and they are the best bullet for the money. Some of my 25-06 rifles shoot sierra better than any other bullet I have used.
