The Lee Load-All 2 offers the reloader a an inexpensive option when it comes to making cost effective shotgun shells. This press includes eight shot bushings that measure 7/8, 1, 1-1/8, 1-1/4, 1-1/2, 1-3/4 and 1-7/8 ounces. The 1-7/8 ounce bushing is a small tab that fits inside the charge bar. Also included with this press are sixteen powder bushings that measure: 095, 100, 105, 110, 116, 122, 128, 134, 141, 148, 155, 163, 171, 180, 189 and 198 cubic centimeters. Unlike other more expensive presses the Lee Load-All 2 also comes with 6 and 8 point crimp starters, safety charge bar, steel sizing ring, aluminum plate for primer catcher, spare wad guide, primer guide, spring and pin, one screw and two bolts with locking nuts. Additionally the 12 and 20 gauge models can load 3" shells without needing an expensive conversion kit.

I've had a Load All in 12 and 20 gauge for the last 10 years and have put over 15,000 rounds through EACH without any failures or anything wearing out. They both have the automatic primer feed and it works reasonably well as long as you lift the primer slide so the primer goes into position. The money that I've saved over buying two MECs and the bushings and charge bars have been better used on powder, primers and shot. These are really well designed kits that you will enjoy. The only drawback is changing powder or bushings as there is no way to disconnect the flow. You have to unbolt the press and carefully tip it upside down to empty it first. I solved this by mounting it on small 3/4" plywood board and clamp the board to the table. This way it is fast and easy to empty and saves table space since I can have both on the shelves and just clamping it down to the table when I need one. Also, if you drill a 1/2" hole under the primer punch the primer will fall right through it onto an ice cream bucket and you never have to empty the primer catch in the press.

I've been using this loader for a week. The only fault I find is that you have no way of emptying the propellant and shot, after you are finished reloading. It is a pain. it would be great if the compartments would tip like the sizemater from MEC. Also the Lee primer feed was not to my liking. Most Primers stuck in the feed channel. I went back to the single primer feed by hand. It was less trouble. I now have upgraded to the MEC Sizemaster. The Lee was great to learn shotshell loading on. I do believe Lee should work on the automatic priming system a little more to get the primers to slide down more efficiently regardless of brand.

A great press for the beginning reloader. I've only reloaded about 700+ so far, and it is quite easy to get into a rhythm to churn them out quickly.

Used this my first year and a half of reloading, then upgraded to a MEC Sizemaster, I gotta say this press is the perfect press for a beginner it is not top of the line but produces a great shell and is great for the beginner reloader to see if they like it or not. I would recommend buying this press for your first reloader and later down the line upgrade to a more "user friendly" loader. But all in all this press will get you the most bang for your buck.

I have been using lee loaders for several years for metallic reloading with no problems so I picked up a LLA in 20 Gauge. Some of the problems that I came across are that it could use a 3/4 oz shot bushing, but with a little ingenuity I made my own with a piece of 12 gauge hull and a piece of hose and now it drops the perfect size shot for my loads. I use Hodgdon Universal for my loads and it does seem to let some powder through. I'm not a high volume shot gunner so these are all minor problems that I can live with.... I would recommend the LLA to anyone who wants to save some money for there shotgun reloading.

Through no fault of Midway in any manner, I found this reloader to be the worst product I have had from Lee. I have reloaded for over 40 years and have a very nice Mec for a 12ga. I needed a 20ga reloader and wanted to try a Lee. This press would not provide a nice crimp for either the 6pt or 8pt shells. I used the correct wads and correct powder charge. I certainly would not recommend it at all. Save your money and buy a good Mec, you will not regret it.

This press is about as basic as you can get. It loads shells very well for me. I have found that the hull makes the difference. It is harder to load Winchester Super X hulls than it is to load Remington STS.With good hulls, this loader does a fine job. Have loaded approximately 2000 rounds with this press.Excellent single stage press.

It works great for the price. It's like any other press, it must be setup level to work right. I load 20 gauge for Tactical shooting. The rounds I loaded have better patterns than factory rounds. The only problem is removing the powder and shot. I have a MEC reloader in 12 gauge but it would cost almost twice the cost of this loader to convert it.

I have used this press for 12 ga shells and it works well. I bought one for 20 ga shells and ran into two problems. I wanted to load low recoil cowboy action shells with a 3/4 oz load. I did not read the specifications well enough. If I had I would have noticed that the lowest bushing it has is for 7/8 OZ. I also struck out on the powder bushings. The smallest bushing was still too big for my reduced recoil powder load. So I had to order some powder scoops and a shot scoop to try and get things to work. I also considered making some 2-1/2" loads but it seems that this press will only do 2-3/4" or 3" shells. Further I am not entirely fond of the primer feeder. I added it recently to my 12 ga unit and I have to constantly jiggle it and move the primers along with my fingers to get them to feed. I am debating if it saves any time over placing a primer each time by hand. I have to keep a thin flexible piece of straw handy to poke the primers when they get jammed at the mouth of the primer feeder. "Fortunately" I am using Federal primers that the instructions say feed best.

This is a nice little reloader if you do a few boxes of shells at a time and don't change your loads often. I ran it through 100 20 gauge reloads. Once you get a rhythm, it's not bad and it seems sturdy enough. I did experience some problems with the charge bar jamming using 4 shot. Emptying the powder and shot holders is kind of a pain. You have to pry the press handle off of two spindles on either side of the press body, then lift out the entire body. A 3/4 ounce shot bushing would have also been nice. I can't believe that one is not included in the 20 gauge kit. I ended up using a separate shot dipper to load my 20 gauge shells, which kind of defeated the purpose of having the shot on the press. Keep this in mind if you plan to buy one of these for 20 gauge reloading. It shouldn't be a problem on the 12 gauge model. For the average hunter, this a nice little reloader. But if you do any competition shooting, get a sturdier, bigger reloader.

I love this press. Great for new load development. I have and use an RCBS Minigrand. But I continue to use the Lee LA2 for short runs and for coming up with new loads. My son also likes the Lee for his loads for his Beretta AL390. I'll be getting the primer feed for this unit pretty soon. Lee press is my recommendation for 20GA if load less than 300 a week. And it's very cheap!!
