Product Information

The Konus M-30 Tactical Rifle Scope has all the features of much more expensive rifle scopes. It is an ideal choice for a number of applications from tactical to hunting. Features include a glass etched reticle with Ultra Blue illumination for dark targets, a built-in anti-canting bubble system, fully multi-coated hi-def optics and a 30mm tube. Illumination is adjustable via a 45 degree offset illuminator switch while 1/10 MIL adjustments are made with the locking tactical turret knobs which are resettable to zero. Konus M-30 Rifle Scopes are covered by the Konus Limited lifetime Warranty.

I gave it 5 stars for the features vs. price. I have it mounted on a DPMS LR308. Semi Auto with a substantial amount of repeated recoil. Don't fiddle with the locking turrets to much. Unless your dragging the rifle thru terrain, you dont need to tighten them much. Scope was easy to set up and zero. Tracks fine, no shift in POI even with the repeated recoil. Clear optics for the price and very bright at dusk. When I first looked thru the scope on a bright sunny day in TX, I had to pull my eye away from scope until I got use to it. Put on the sunshade and it was much better. Internal bubble level is small but you can train yourself to see it, level the rifle and fire. Anti-canting feature is worth the extra work to use. It is an excellent entry level scope that will get you a long ways until you can afford the IOR Valdada or Zeiss. $1100.00 Plus. Don't sell it or trade it off, you'll regret it later. Great buy for $400.00, better at Midway. Midway also gets A+++, I hope they are around as long as my Konus will be. God bless the USA..

KonusPro M30 8.5-32 x 56mm. Poor quality, poor function, not rugged. Recommend against.Scope did not hold its zero despite proper setup and secure mounting. On 3rd use the entire eyepiece became loose when the zoom ring was turned. It rattled and the crosshairs would shift up & down. After rotating the eyepiece about 1 turn to snug the eyepiece, a red wire sprung into view inside the scope; afterward the reticle would no longer light up (surprise). I found no manufacturing ID or serial number. The underside is marked "P.R.C" ie. peoples republic of china. Other complaints: the parallax knob is hard to turn. the internal bubble level near impossible to read. I properly set it up per manual and mounted it atop a 223 rifle using proper tools, torques and quality rings.

I purchased this scope and it has some great features especially since most scopes in this price range lack them. I love the locking turrets, anti-cant level INSIDE the scope, side focus, illuminated reticle, return to zero turrets, and the clarity is pretty darn good. Although it is a tactical scope, I would have loved something that had 1/4 MOA turrets instead of 1/8 MOA. The 1/8 seemed great for dialing in the scope for precision shooting, but in a more tactical application, I would like to have to turn the turrets less rather than more. My BIGGEST complaint is that after firing about 1,000 rounds through my .308, the scope went completely blurry. I could do nothing to adjust the focus. I believe a lens may have fallen or come loose. The scope has never been dropped or put through any strenuous conditions. It has never been on a rifle w/ tremendous recoil (sat on a .30-06 for about 100 rounds before I moved it to my .308 WIN). I sent it back to Konus and am still waiting to hear back. The scope was a great scope until this happened. It retained its zero really well and I am disappointed. I love Konus scopes and have not experience this before. If the scope is repaired/replaced, I will stick it on another gun, and am upgrading my glass to something that will never have this problem. It lasted a long time, and I have buddies who will never fire 1,000 rounds through their rifles in a lifetime. For me though, this is unacceptable and I hope it was just a defect on this scope.

I have had this scope for a few weeks now. I was reluctant as I was not familiar with the Konus brand, but based on the features I gave it a try. I mounted it on a Remington 700 Police Sniper rifle in .308. I was not disappointed!! First off the optics are crystal clear even at full power. The glass etched reticle is fabulous and Konus has great customer service. Any problems just call them in Florida. A no questions asked lifetime warranty. Back to the scope,the locking turets are good although the clicks are a little mushy..but no problem. The side focus knob is very tight which is a plus as it wont jar from recoil. The reticle illuminates in either red or blue with different intensities for low light target aquisition. The cant bubble in the scope is hard to see. At 100 yards the adjustment is only 1/8 MOA with a maximum 0f 50 MOA so keep that in mind. I shoot bench rest style..and at 100 yds...with a 5 shot group...I have 1 hole!!!!! Less then 1/4 grouping at 100 yds!!!!! The mil dots in the reticle are very helpful. All in all I would put this optic up against a Leupold any day!!!!The old timer bench rest pros at the range are all very impressed with this scope as well, so that says alot. If you are on the fence about this one...just buy it..you won't be disappointed!!!!!

Great product for the money... It is basically a MK4 leupold but less than 1/2 the price lol. Illumination is A+ (night time hunting or bright out), zoom is great. Mils are great and locking turrets are great. The 52mm end is great for taking in available light (if its bright enough that you can see it with your naked eye, you can see it through the scope) and the extended sunshade that comes with it comes in handy during those real hot days.. can't beat the price if you just became broke after buying an expensive rifle.

Phenomenal bang for the buck, limited useage so far- but has held up to several box tests well. Love the blue illum-helps on bright days. Clarity is good. 50moa adjustment is a little limiting...but the scope s also not a USO or S&B. Magnification range is greatly enjoyed. Would/will buy another vs a Leupy or Burris. Like the locking turrets-don't love the lock knobs-fiddly. Reticle is average- could be better.
