The Smith Enterprise Good Iron Muzzle brake is a 14 port brake, designed to be extremely stable during rapid fire. The Good Iron brake is constructed of 8620 steel and treated with salt bath nitriding for corrosion resistance and superior durability. The ports are arranged to reduce felt recoil and eliminate muzzle rise, the lower portion of the brake is closed to reducing the dust when firing prone. The included jam nut makes it easy to time the break on you rifle with an armorer's wrench, the break also has flats for a ¾" wrench for easy installation.
