This swivels work fine, and do fit military-style slings. My only beef, and it's minor, is that the finish on them does not quite match the finish on my RRA AR.

Awesome swivels. Super heavy duty with a nice parked finish. They are a bit pricey, but worth every penny if you want some great 21st century style sling swivels!!!

GROVTEC's MILSPEC sling swivels are made in the U.S.A and carry a lifetime guarantee.They are top quality all metal construction including the locking nut, just like the smaller GT series of GROVTEC sling swivels.I've bought and used all the common sling swivels over the decades with a non-locking type working open and slipping out in the field dropping the rifle off my back, never again.These GROVTEC Milspecs's are easily the best by far 1.25' wide lockable sling swivels, they are a set and forget, 100% reliable heavy duty attachment for any hunting, military or tactical rifle with sling studs....you could try the rest or buy the best.....GROVTEC.

These sling swivels seem to be quite well made and strong (no plastic or pot metal). The operation is a little stiff probably due to the parkerizing but that just decreases the possibility of accidental opening and dropping your rifle. I wanted something unique for a custom rifle besides the usual cheap stuff out there. I just wish they had a blued option. (Since they are all steel I could strip them and blue them myself.) Otherwise I am well pleased overall.
