Product Information

Besides being used in chalk lines or for other marking needs, whiting can be used to remove excess oil from old gunstocks. Simply mix the whiting with acetone or another solvent to form a paste. Apply the paste to the stock in small areas. Apply heat using a heat gun to the area. The whiting will absorb cosmoline and other oils from the stock. Reapply as necessary.
