I had been looking for an inexpensive spotting scope but most other brands I looked at other sites in this price range did not have good reviews until I saw this one at midway. the reviews were good so I bought it. so far this scope works very well at 50,100,200 yards. For the price I paid for this scope you cannot beat it!!.

Hiked the peak behind my ...

Hiked the peak behind my house which is 10,000' in elevation, I could clearly read the Diesel price sign ($3.919) and the people walking out of a gas station 9 miles away as the crow flies!! I was so impressed with this scope at the range that I had to take it up to the peak to see what it could do. Carry bag and tripod are very functional. More than impressed for the price.

I purchased this based on the reviews and I am not disappointed. What a great value. This scope is well made with nice clear glass. Easy to use right out of the box and it comes with a great little carrying case. I will agree with some others that the tripod is a bit cheap and flimsy, but at this price point I did not expect more. It's a standard mount so you can purchase another tripod if you are not happy.

Purchased primarily for ...

Purchased primarily for 50' indoor BE shooting, and as a loaner for HP matches. Solid feel and appearance outside. Sharp and clear image with no distortion, blurring or chromatic aberration across the entire field of view. Light gathering about what you would expect from a 50mm lens. Focus and zoom controls are smooth and solid with no slack. Minimum focus is as advertised (<30'). There are a lot of turns on the focus knobs from min to max, and very little depth of field even at infinity. The angled head does not rotate, necessitating a swivel adapter between the scope and stand for my purposes.

Excellent scope for the bread. I've been putting off buying a spotting scope for a long time because I figured what I would need would cost between $400-800 - Barska and MidwayUSA rock.

Not the best optics in ...

Not the best optics in the world, but definitely one of the best values for the money. The tripod that comes with it is small, crude, and a bit flimsy; but it is very compact and is functional until you buy a fancier tripod (if you need).I'd definitely recommend this to other people. You may want to consider the next higher-power version, which is only $10 more.

At 334 yards I could ...

At 334 yards I could clearly make license plate numbers. I could see the tags but not the dates on the tags. Excellent quality for an outstanding price. It comes with a very nice hard case and a soft case. The tripod is a little weak but works just fine.

This is a good product ...

This is a good product for the money. It is very lightweight. Easy to focus and very good clarity for a scope in this price range. I got it for a pack scope when I go deer and elk hunting. Tripod is ok. Comes with a soft case. Could use a little more protection for long trips.
