I expected rubber grips ...

I expected rubber grips along the line of Hogue or Pachmayr, soft and grippy. These grips feel like hard plastic to me, in texture no improvement over the issue grips. Ergonomically I prefer the issue grips with the build-up at the base, but that is subjective. Smaller hands may benefit from these grips. The grip screw on the back of the grip fits flush with the grip at the top of the screw hole. I would have preferred it to be slightly recessed. I felt a slight ridge, a sharpness, where the screw/screw hole was. Fit was tight and manufacture excellent, I just didn't get what I was expecting--a soft rubber feel--and myself and another felt the stock grips were better for pointability, again, subjective.
