Pro-Ears, both their ...

Pro-Ears, both their electronic and non-electronic (Passive) have the best db noise reduction available. They are very high quality, fold up well (even this Ultra33 monster!) and are plenty confortable for multiple hours of shooting. I use the Ultras (both active and passive) for myself and my students exclusivly and can't find a better solution (and I have a box of old ear muffs!) The Ultra33's are great, but tend to be a little too heavy for females. I use them or the electronic version myself, since I spend over 20 hours a week in an indoor shooting range. The Ultra28's work better for females or you high speed smaller guys who want to lighten it up a bit but still get plenty of protection for hours of indoor range use. If you're shooting shotgun or rifle, you should look into the even lighter chop side model (I use it when shotgun shooting only, and it works fine for that, but not ideal indoor range pistol shooting). They also make these Ultra Passives in OD green, but unfortunately Midway isn't offering those as of this posting date (I've sent them email requesting they carry them). If your flush with cash, buy the electronic version of the Ultras, otherwise these passives will serve you just fine. Might want to look into buying one of those ear-muff hooks for the belt while your shopping for ear-muffs...they are a very handy way to hang them on your belt in-between cease-fires. I was using expensive electronic headphones with noise cancellation and ear plugs to shoot my Glock 27 in an enclosed range. I was flinching from not only my shooting, but also from other people's shooting especially when they shot larger bore magnum rounds.
These earmuffs are way, way. way better! I no longer suffer from the noise and am much more consistant with my groupings. No need for extra earplugs.

Update from my last post: I took the two earmuffs that were broken back to the factory. One set was two years old and the other one was one year old. Both sets broke at the left yoke. They looked at them and said wait a minute. When they came back, they had both pair repaired and looking like new. No charge. Not only do the muffs work great, so does the company. Where can you find a company that will repair two year old products free. Can't beat that. I would definately recommend these earmuffs to everyone. They are great ear protection.

The muffs are really ...

The muffs are really quiet and have comfortable ears seals. I use them on the range and they work great-and really block out the noise. They come with a 1 year warranty too. I have had no problems, and recommend them to my friends.

Pro-Ears has good noise ...

Pro-Ears has good noise reduction capabilities. I could not find any other product with a higher NRR in the market (NRR is 33 for Pro-Ears). I am a law student and I need to block noises to attain concentration when I am studying. Pro ears significantly reduces annoying noises like barking dogs, cars, people talking around. The environment can get easily polluted with noises that increase stress levels. Pro-Ears has helped me reduce noise pollution and keep sanity during long hours of intense study. Whether shooting or studying Pro-Ears is an excellent alternative for noise reduction. Very comfortable.
