Bought these a few months ago for an SPS Varmint Remington in 223. With work keeping me busy I have finally gotten around to using them. Groups very well sub 1" at 200 for 5 shot groups. Sub 1/2" at 100 for the same 5 shot groups. Tried them on a late evening yote hunt last night saw just one yote @ a lasered 455 yds. Well I tried the shot bullet worked as planned one less yote in my neighborhood. Would recommend them. At the same time I wont give up on the 55gr Sie BK's I have been using either.

I've been shooting 150 grain silvertips in my 300 WSM for years and I finally have them for my 223. The accuracy was phenomenal as it was in my 300 short mag. These are fantastic rounds with great destructive power. Just watch your speeds and distances. Under 3200 fps and greater than 75 yards away gets the best penetration. Faster or closer and they tend to really fragment. Still kills, mind you but messy.

I load this extensively in my 223 Rem for the AR varmint top and savage 12bvss. Typical groups under .5 moa, when conditions are ideal, I have had groups under 0.25moa. The lubalox (whatever that is) coating seems to really cut fouling. Get some!

As a matter of fact I have used these bullets in my Savage 99 22-250 for sometime. I have a shooting range on the ranch here in Montana. And sighted in these rounds in at 200 yds. using a bench rest. Time and time again I have found 1/4 inch groups possible. No other round gave me this accuracy with such capable potential on Coyote at range. My money says buy what works & it works well. At 100 yds in my 223 Colt AR15 National match it is no exaggeration to expect one round on top of another no exceptions. ENUF Said

These bullets did decent at the range (1" groups at 100 yards), but performed far better on feral hogs. At 200 yards it dropped a 100 pound sow in her tracks, and within 100 yards it killed a 250 pound boar. Both were killed by lung/heart shots with a Stevens 22-250.

As to be expected, accuracy with these bullets is superb. I have shot these out of a stock R700 22-250 and a T/C encore pistol 18" barrel. Out to 200 yards I was shooting one ragged hole with the rifle. With the pistol I shot one ragged hole out to 150 yards when I did my part. Excellent bullet!

A great bullet!! I changed from V-max 55's to these and the performance is great. I get 3/8" groups from 100yds to 200yds with my Savage 22-250. Can't wait to try it on coyotes.

This has the same exact ballistic coefficiency as the 55 gr. Nosler Ballistic Tips!! You can use either round with the same exact load. Glad this one is still available. NOTE: Also used in preloaded Winchester Ballistic Silvertip Ammo.
