Although I had no major concerns about the factory trigger on my 1895 45-70, I had heard that this kit was worthwhile. I had my gun dealer install it, and he and I both agree the difference is significant. It is now lighter and crisper, and my shooting has improved. I'm going to get one for my 1894 .44 mag.

I put this trigger in my model 336 Marlin 30-30 that was made in 1982. First, the quality of the trigger (material, fit and finish) is fantastic. Second, it went into my rifle like it was custom fit for it. Third, it does just what is promised by the manufacturer. I don't have any tools to measure the pull weight, but my calibrated finger says it's now at 4.5 pounds with zero slop, I mean NONE what so ever. If the P.T.B. at Marlin had any sense at all they would buy the patent for this trigger from Wild West Guns and install it at the factory in all their lever guns. It is that good.

It is a big improvement. My trigger pull gauge read 6 lbs before and 3.5 pounds after installing it. The wild west guns trigger is a very smooth pull. I can really tell the difference when I pull the trigger on one of my other 336's. If it weren't so expensive, I'd have one on each of my other 336's

Wow... what a difference!! Light, crisp trigger pull now. Reduced pressure from 7 lbs. to 3 lbs. No trigger slop either. A little spendy but worth the cost. Another well deserved 5 star review!

After Tuning my .308 MXLR I was looking for what else I could do to improve it. This Trigger was the perfect answer! It reduced the trigger pull by at least half (no scale yet) & it is nice and crisp! My favorite lever gun is now shooting sub-MOA groups. I'm about to order one for my .444 XLR!

This trigger is an unbelievable change to my 1895GS. As others have stated, it was a complete drop in with no special skills required. It reduced the trigger pull to a consistant 2 1/4 lbs. Perfect for what I wanted. No play, no wiggle, no flap. Just solid, crisp breaking trigger pull. For those that are nervous about the disassembly of their rifles, the Marlin Owners Forum web site has step by step disassembly instructions with photos of each step. You truly cannot go wrong if you follow them. You will be comfortable working on your rifle quickly. This trigger is an awesome addition to my rifle and it will be to yours as well. Best bang for the buck custom feature you can add.

Very highly recommend this product. Cut my trigger pull by slightly more than 50% and greatly reduced travel- Easy to install if you're somewhat mechanically inclined- I would suggest ordering a set of gunsmith screwdrivers if you don't already have them. Also, while you're in there, polish the contact and engagement points on the bottom of the hammer and check for burrs. Feel that trigger- WOW! Can't wait to get to the Range!!!

Wow, I'm impressed. The trigger dropped in with no gunsmithing. It is a crisp and consistent 2 lb. 12 oz. pull every time and feels better than some of my bolt guns. I highly recommend this product.

This trigger is the difference between night and day compared to the stock trigger on a 1970's Marlin 30-30 win, model 336. My Dad was very impressed as this is on his rifle. Consistent pull and clean break. No flopping around like the stock trigger. I think we measured it as averaging about 4lbs.
