I hope that title got your attention…I hunted down this CLP (with the help of my friend Jason) because the lubrication on my new 1911 TRP was so intoxicating I had to figure out what it was so I could use it on all my weapons. After contacting Springfield Armory they informed me Shooter's Choice FP-10 was there primary lubricant. It has a slight cinnamon smell to it which was my initial attraction but after using it on everything I own I also found out it is an excellent cleaner and keeps all my parts friction free and well lubed. I've long used FP-10 as a gun lubricant. After a traditional cleaning of my 30-30 today, I pushed a wet FP-10 patch through the bore for rust protection. I got to read the fine print on the bottle and decided to try its cleaning routine: wet patch, wet bronze brush and 10 strokes, then wet patch. Wow. The wet patch came out BLACK from a "clean" bore! I repeated the routine and then pushed an FP-10 wet patch through the bore. Black again. Then a dry patch. It came out clean. Wow!

Great lube and decent cleaning agent. I have found that following up lubrication with a blast of compressed air perfectly cleans and lubricates the tight parts without over applying. Does not seem to attract dirt and dust.

Used FP10 for years and hard to beat without going to some exotic synthetic. The additive reduces friction over conventional oil with the added benefit of staying effective in scorching Texas summers and no gumming last winter on a 20deg outing. Final oiling on a clean bore really simplifies cleaning after hard cast. Tough to beat the price/performance.

You simply cannot beat this product. I have been using FP-10 for about fifteen years now, it was originally known as Firepower FP-10. Put it on your bore-brush or patch and saturate the bore. Let it set for about fifteen minutes and it will soak into the metal and remove more crud than you can imagine. When you think the bore is clean...set the weapon aside and run a clean patch thru it the next day. Then see for your own eyes just how good this stuff really is.

Best oil out there. Great on automatics. AR-15, pistols, etc. Very slick, doesn't seem to clooect dirt, and very little needed.

I've used FP-10 for 2 years now in a competition AR-15 (5000+ rounds). It's the best CLP I've used. No teflon or other particulates added, so it won't "gunk up" an action. I've never had a failure-to-fire or other problem associated with lubrication since I started using FP-10 and I can't say that about other CLPs. I've only used about 2.5 oz. in the gun with regular cleaning (about every 2 weeks).

This stuff is GREAT on my Glock and AR-15. Guns both operate smoothly through hundreds and hundreds of rounds with no need for re-lubrication. Even the AR!!Doesn't attract dirt, stays slick, and protects from rust. What more can you ask for from a gun oil?Buy this stuff and throw your CLP in the garbage can!
