Great Product

The M77 triggers have always been nice with very little to zero creep. However, despite their "adjustable" design, the weight is around 6 or 7 lbs. I've seen many reports where people have tried to use the trigger weight ajustment screw to lower the pull with no effect. If your one of those people your sear engaugement is probably set at the minimum from the factory. Mine was.
This is just the thing you need to get the adjustment range lower. I had a 6 lb pull before I installed this sear, and a 3 lb pull after install. Zero creep. I checked sear engaugement, overtravel, and pull weight screws. They all ended up in the same place as the factory sear. Passes all safety checks. Love it.

Don't tell Midway or Rifle Basix but this little Gem would be a bargain at twice the price!!!!I have an older Ruger Tang Safety Rifle in 25-06 that I love, but have never been able to adjust the trigger to my liking. At best I never got it to adjust to less than 7 Lb. After reading some of the reviews of this product I ordered one. With only a two screwdrivers, a tiny drop of fishing reel grease, an allen wrench, and about 20 minutes of assembly and adjustment I now have a crisp clean 2 Lb trigger.Just follow the easy to follow instructions. It couldn't be easier.

Easy to install with basic tools: screw driver to separate barreled action from stock and allen wrench to adjust stock trigger assembly. Easy to follow instructions included. Before: the trigger was extremely stiff. After: its a great trigger for field accuracy. If your trigger is too stiff for field work, buy this sear.

Was easy to install and improved trigger pull and feel. I installed this on an 80's model M77 Ruger, but the instructions that came with the sear were not correct. I went on-line and found the correct one which made installation pretty straightforward.

Outstanding product. The installation was easy thanks to very clear instructions. The trigger pull dropped from 6 lbs. with creep to a crisp 2 lbs. An enormous improvement and it took only five minutes to install. I can't wait to get to the range.

Bought this to put in a Ruger 77 RSI in .308. When I got this rifle the trigger broke at 8.5 pounds no matter what I did to it. I got the sear today and put it in right away. Total time to install: 10 minutes (including pulling out and putting away my screwdriver and punch). The trigger now breaks at 3 pounds 1 ounce with no creep. This is just perfect for a hunting rifle for me.

I have owned my Ruger M-77R 7mm Rem Mag with the tang safety since 1979. It is a great rifle except for the heavy 7 lb. trigger pull. This early model even had a trigger pull adjustment screw on the trigger base. With the adjust let out as far as possible the trigger pull was still over five lbs. I recently installed a new Rifle Basix trigger sear to replace the factory sear. Wow! What a sweet difference. The pull can now be set from 14 oz. to 2 lbs. I followed the easy to understand diagram and instructions, and as stated I applied a small dab of action lube to the sear catch. I am so thrilled with this trigger sear that I believe it would give the high end priced full trigger assemblies a run for their money. I set my trigger at 1-1/2 lbs and there is no creep. I may lower the weight more but I want to get use to the improvement first. Anyone who isn't satisfied with this Basix trigger sear wasn't following the instructions carefully enough. Even though this is a drop in replacement part you still have to adjust the trigger travel screw, the sear tension adjustment and your trigger adjustment screw if it has one. All of this is shown very clearly in the instructions and diagram.

Love it! Simple to ...

Love it! Simple to install and now the trigger has a light crisp break and very little travel. It is fully adjustable. Scary good and so simple! Please be extra safety-conscious if you set this baby very light. The guys at the range next to you will be impressed with your tiny groups and the varmints don't stand a chance. You can practically will the trigger to break with your mind (well, okay, not really, but get this sear and you will know what I mean). My Ruger M77 already shot sub MOA groups with the factory trigger. Now its a tack-driver. If you are considering it, buy it. You'll love it too.

I ordered this sear for my brother and installed it for him. The installation was simple and took only a few minutes. We don't have a trigger pull gauge, but the trigger is much lighter than it was and is now a joy to use. I would certainly recommend this product without hesitation. In the interest of full disclosure, the wrong instructions were packaged with the sear. This wasn't a problem, though, since I had already downloaded the instructions from the manufacturer's website while doing research.

Sear works great , and went in easy , just what I was looking for a nice crisp trigger pull , also put the 841194 B-Square replacement screw kit Trigger Guard Action Screws Hex Head Blue Set of 3 in , they are nice and I am glad to get rid of the old slotted screws.
