This is perfect for ...

This is perfect for carrying .357 ammunition to use with my lever action rifle - it's everything I was hoping for in quality and should last me the rest of my life. Too bad Chuck Connors didn't have one of these to carry in the old TV series "The Rifleman"...I always got tired of watching him reload from his shirt pocket.

Great product!! I see where others have commented on the oiliness of the product. I would not think this is an issue as the loops are tight. I would recommend on loading it immediately and letting the loops set with the oil drying out. Wonderful quality and worth every penny.

I ordered this to hold 45/70 shells and the fit is perfect and they fit tight so you not picking any up off the ground. Thanks I will be ordering one more of these for sure.

I ordered this with the ...

I ordered this with the intent on using it to carry 45-70 rounds, but when I got it the loops were extremely tight. So tight that it would actually size down the middle of the cartridges. I have tried to stretch the loops out by leaving wider items like markers in the loops for days. It helped, but the fit is still very tight. Maybe it will loosen up over time, but it's pretty useless now.

The quality of this ...

The quality of this bandolero is outstanding. I loaded mine up with 45/70 shells the day it arrived. Each loop holds securely with no problems. Set it out in the sun a couple of days after it arrives to dry it out as it comes heavily oiled.

Can't help but smile when ...

Can't help but smile when I fully load it up with cartridges. It is pretty oily when you first take it out of the bag.One size does not 'fit all' though, and while I'm not a big man, it's a tight fit over a coat or serape. I'd like to see the option of a spacer or other means to attach an accessory at the ends of the belt (canteen, bayonet frog, pouch) that extends it another 4-6 inches so the ends lay on my hip instead of my waist.
