I was very suprised with the quality to price ratio with this product. It was very well built, and built to spec. I can't complain about anything. Great job Midway. Oh and the dust covers are almost always a different color than the upper. The upper is aluminum and the dust cover is steel, and so they are finished differently. Generally dust covers are generic from brand to brand. So the diffrence in color is likely.

Upper seems to be sturdy ...

Upper seems to be sturdy and good, but my reason for only 4 stars is because the dust cover was a completely lighter color metal, and had the texture of 80 grit sand paper. I always give a liberal amount of oil all over my new builds and let them sit for a while. Thinking it would absorb the oil, it would conform like the rest of the receiver, but it's definitely different. I don't mind that it's a different color really, but the texture really threw me off. Everything else seemed to be great, and it mated with my DPMS lower just fine. Not sure if I got the bad apple out of the bag or what, but I would expect a little more from such a highly reviewed item/company.

I am verry happy with the upper that i got a year ago! It is well made and i was impressed with the fit and finish. I am planing to buy another soon to build a flat top A3. Would recomend to anyone building a AR.

The one I received does ...

The one I received does not have M4 feed ramps as advertised. I still give it five stars for being built to spec with great anodizing inside and out. "T" marks are etched much deeper than my YHM upper. Yes I would buy another.
