Nice 1-1/4" sling w/ QD ...

Nice 1-1/4" sling w/ QD swivels, well made. Good camo, looks good on my 983s Marlin 22 mag. Only thing I found neg. was that the 'quick one hand adj.' took 2 hands & it always seemed to revert back to a central position IT liked. In other words, if I tightened it up and put the gun on my shoulder, it would keep going back to the point it seemed to like on its own. I solved this by just getting it where I wanted it and installing a 'Chicago Screw' there by punching a small hole thru the fabric. Now it's staying where I want it and still looks great. Also, in the detail it says 'padded' shoulder strap...well there is no real padding, just that the sling material in its entirety is very very slightly spongy. Hope this helps; good value , may want to order a Chicago Screw with it in case (at least it helped on mine).

Really good quality, ...

Really good quality, thick nylon and very stout swivels. Measure distance between your swivel posts before ordering. I bought for a pump gun with 30" between posts. Sling isn't long enough. But it perfect for both my lever gun & bolt action rifle as both measure 26" between posts. So, I simply swapped out slings and now have this new sling on my Weatherby MKV.

Such a deal...for the ...

Such a deal...for the price! Put it on a RFI Hunter 2#A .308 with a black synthetic stock. Going to order 2 more for a Charles Daly .30-06 and another RFI Hunter #2A.

Its a great ...

Its a great sling--hardware is strong and well finished. Detaches quickly with no hands, but locks in securely.Sling is way overbuilt--this is a good thing. Hardware can be removed from sling if you plan to put it on an ar-15 type stock since the sling has a section with chicago screws that allow it to come apart.You wont be disappointed!

Great sling! Have it on ...

Great sling! Have it on my remington 700 SPS in 308. Took it on a hunting trip to South Africa and it worked well. May need to put a little oil on the swivels to keep them from squeaking, but other than that performs very well and is comfortable. Holds up well when shooting with a sling (i.e. using sling as a shooting aid).

A fantastic product! This ...

A fantastic product! This sling is extremely durable and tough. I attached both slings to my rifles in a matter of a minute or two. They also adjust in just a few seconds to your liking. I have this sling on my 30-06, and my .17HMR. I will be ordering more for my other rifles as well. This sling is a must have for anyone looking for durability, comfort, and cost effectiveness. I am truly impressed by the quality and value in this product! Thumbs up to Allen for producing this quality product, and Midway for having such a competitive price point!
