The Whidden Gunworks die locking ring utilizes a pinch-type design which allows for better alignment in the press and with the threads on the die. The use of a cross-bolt, which pinches two ends of the ring, prevents damage to the die threads typical with the set-screw design. The fluted design of the Whidden Gunworks die locking ring makes it easier to grip and make adjustments to the ring's position. Fits all standard 7/8" x 14 dies from most manufacturers.
