This Boresighter saves time and ammunition by helping you align the scope's crosshairs with the gun's bore before you even get to the range. Works with all scopes. The magnet eliminates the need for arbors. Covered by limited lifetime warranty.

Uses a built in magnet to attach to the muzzle of the gun

Requires no Batteries

Procedure:(See Product Instructions for Full Procedure)

Position the boresighter roughly the same height as the centerline of the objective end of the scope mounted on the gun

Look through the scope & by rotating the boresighter slightly, align the reticle of the scope with the vertical and horizontal lines of the boresigher's target grid, visible through the scope.

Using the scope's windage & elevation adjustments, align the scope's reticle with the centering dot of the boresighter's target grid.

Remove the boresighter, the scope should be "on the paper."

I found this product to be clear, bright and easy to use.As promised, it puts you on the paper.Using a gun rest I leveled my scope with a small level. I think that by doing this first, the alignment of the gun with the scope, should insure a good boresighting job.

Very easy to use, but not very accurate. It might get you on paper at 50 yards, but start at 25 to be sure. My Simmons arbor style bore sighter is more accurate, and my SL100 laser bore sighter is even better. The Bushnell is faster to mount but will cost you time and ammo at the range. I use mine for a quick setup of new optics, but ultimately switch to one of the others before heading to the range.

Boresighted 2 guns with ...

Boresighted 2 guns with it and checked one that was sighted in, this thing is junk! My 7mm that was sighted in, it said I needed to adjust to the right, said the same for the nonsighted in guns. I did as the boresighter said for my unsighted guns and what a joke, couldnt get paper for 15 rounds at 50 yds...literally had to get 10 yds from the target. JUNK

I bought this one sale in ...

I bought this one sale in May and tried to use that week. I leveled and clamped my rifle on a steel table, set the boresighter exactly to match the scope to the bore distance and leveled the boresighter with a mini level, and adjusted the crosshairs to zero. The scope is VISIBILY off to the left by more than 5 degrees. I tried it on a known zeroed rifle and the zero was ABOUT 6 FEET OFF TO THE RIGHT. I would return it but the manufacture wants $10.00 plus my cost to ship it to them even on warranty. DON'T WASTE MONEY ON THIS ITEM!!!

Don't waste your money! ...

Don't waste your money! Placing the magnet correctly is no more than guessing. You can do a much better job coinciding the bore-view with the scope crosshairs to a spot on the wall across the room. If you can't look through your bore from the breech (M-14 for example) use a dental mirror.

Very difficult to align ...

Very difficult to align to scope. The grid is not in alignment with the body of the bore sighter. Think I will send it back and get one with an arbor kit.

When boresight a good ...

When boresight a good many rifles I discovered that in many instances the shot misses the target completely. I expected better closer to target results with the new magnetic tool. I had hoped for dramatic new improvement with the new device, but not worse!!!!
