I don't know why everyone else is giving it such a bad rating. It's an $80 sight, and you get what you pay for. The bullseye does change slightly between reticles, but that isn't uncommon, and there's no reason to change reticle midshooting. I have it on a carbine and I've noticed no drift, and no flickering. I have it set on Crosshair, and never change it. And it's dead on. Brightness is great. I would suggest finding a reticle you like, zeroing it, and then put some loc tite on the tension screw and leave it alone. Bang for the buck, the sight is awesome. And I've bought 2 more.

I put this on a Browning Buckmark 22lr and it works well. It is fairly easy to see during daylight. The only problem is, after 100 rounds or so, I have to take it off the guns and tighten the screws that holds the sight to the base. Loc-tite helps. I am not able to use locking screw to hold crosshairs in place as it always changes the alignment of the crosshairs.

Bought this sight for a Ruger GP100 357 mag with a Weigand rail (Weaver style mount rail). Easy to mount to the rail. Zeroed with no problems at 20ft. Out of the box 1st shot was 4" right and 12" low. After zero the sight stayed put. Did not notice any issues. I shot rounds at various distances using iron sights before mounting the Barska. The Barska helped me quickly acquire the target and my groups at each distance improved. The only thing I noted was that after adjusting the elevation, the side rails of the sight were raised above the mount rail enough to see the adjusting screw and spring. It's an appearance thing to me. I'm very happy with the performance for the price.

If you want a C-more, Aimpoint or Eotech optic buy one! Different category of optic. I've found this sight on sale for around 60 bucks on a good day and it works fine for its intended use. I like the simple 3 MOA dot....leave it there and use Loctite in the right places. 4 stars because I don't believe that it could top a slide on a 1911....maybe a receiver mount. Hey can't be so critical on a budget reflex. It is what it is. Um....would I put my life on it-- have other stuff for that but, had no problems on my spare parts carbine. Hits steel 9" at 100yds...fair enough.

I tried this sight out on my sig 556 swat. Just as a cheap means of getting out and shooting. Took awhile to zero the reticle in, once it was zeroed it hit right where I wanted it. Unfortunately, after a couple rounds I had to re-zero the dot. I think the recoil of the gun had to do with that. I imagine it would be a great value for use on a .22, but on something more powerful that that it may just be more of a bother than it's worth in the long run. I ended up taking it off before the end of my outing and used the backup iron sights instead.

I mounted one of these to my 9mm carbine. After about 200 rounds, the sight failed (broken switch). I would estimate that I turned the sight on and off no more than twenty times.

Put this sight on two shotguns so far and have no complaints. Easy to see in all lights, never had a problem. A buddy borrowed my gun for his son to hunt with and lost the lens cap, he called Barska and they shipped another to him free of charge. Will buy another sight for another gun with no questions or doubt.

I mounted the sight. The windage would not adjust, it felt stripped. Elevation worked but the sight could be pushed left and right. Barska products are off of my buy list.

I bought this sight for my Ak-47 and it works well but I did have problems getting it to sight in and it seems to be slightly off when I change between reticles but overall I like it.

This sight is horrible. It would not hold zero on my shotgun so put it on my .22lr. It still wouldn't hold zero long. If you touch the top part at all, it shifts the POI. The elevation screw even broke while I was adjusting it.
