I purchased this base ...

I purchased this base because of another review, but was disappointed when I received it. It was poorly machined and rough around the edges. The finish was some kind of paint-on material, which looked like it had been applied in a dusty room. It was not machined flat and "rocked" back and forth on my receiver. It also had burrs around the mounting screw holes. I returned it to Midway for a set of Valdada bases (which were very nice, by the way). You get what you pay for!
