Was a little skeptical ...

Was a little skeptical about these at first primarily because of the price. I was pleasantly surprised, they cost a little more than what I can get locally(not Lasercast bullets) but I love them in my Ruger Blackhawk in both .38 Special and 357 Mag especially at magnum velocities. Been loading Blue Dot and been crimping at first channel above lube band. Been averaging around 1280 fps and no signs of leading at all. And they hit right where they are supposed to. Buy them you won't buy the cheaper ones again!!

Works well as a pistol ...

Works well as a pistol round but did not work well in Marlin 1894C. The only way I could get acceptable accuracy from it was by crimping it in the lube cannelure but it would not feed normally in action. It shot well when I did this but not a good option. The gun needed something that is full caliber out on the nose. I will say this though - they don't lead the barrel. They are wonderful in that capacity. They are great bullets - just not for the lever guns.

Pulled out my Anniversary ...

Pulled out my Anniversary Blackhawk and loaded these bullets with IMR Trail Boss powder. Forgot how much fun shooting was. Accurate, clean, little recoil, and don't have to chase brass. Great product.

Bullets have excellent ...

Bullets have excellent consistency, and work fine with reduced velocity cowboy loads (although I found my 1892 Navy Arms didn't like them in a .38 case. Bullet was just a bit too short, even when depth was set just at the lube ring). Your results may differ, and you can always use these in your pistols! I experienced better value at Midway than ordering direct from Manufacturer.

While I was disappointed ...

While I was disappointed at first when I loaded them light, these bullets give me the best accuracy at higher velocities (1500-1600fps) in both my .357's. I highly recommend them, as even when loaded hot, there was almost no leading. Excellent product.

I ordered this product ...

I ordered this product for CAS and load for both .38 sp and .357 mags. I am very impressed with the bullet's performance. I also like the fact that it is not lead - as I have my kids help me reload. I am using the new trail boss powder in a .38 sp, my accuracy is outstanding. I would highly recommend
