Mounted this on a 7 lb. ...

Mounted this on a 7 lb. .338 mag. for first test. This scope lived up to a day's punishment at the range and returned to zero good. It is as clear as the Burris XTR, and Leupold. I remounted on a Remington .308 Tactical Mil-Spec. It performed without a flaw.

Excellent scope, half the price of a Leupold and just as good or better. Easy to focus. Very clear, was not sure about them because of some forums I read, but I am extremely happy with this scope. Worth every penny and more.

Purchased this scope last ...

Purchased this scope last year and so far so good. It is built solid and the optics are very clear through the range of zoom. The mildot reticle in the FFP is definitely a must to range accurately in any power and the dual illumination is also very handy. All around great scope for the money. Sure, you can spend a fortune on other brands, but I think this is a smart buy.

I ordered two of these scopes and was glad that I did. The Front Plane Reticle is a real asset and the optics are superb. The unit is built like a truck. The scope adjustments are easily manipulated from any aiming position and the adjustment clicks are easy to hear in windy conditions, without being too loud.

Hard to get info on this ...

Hard to get info on this scope so I took a chance. External craftsmanship and materials look excellent, numbers legible and placed intelligently. Turret knobs are easy to use and reticle locks are excellent. Illumination functions worked well except for some internal reflection on some red settings. Lens covers are decent and clear (which I like in case of that instant shot opportunity) although the rear one covers the diopter adjustment. I cannot comment on shot to shot repeatability, reticle movement or recoil stability. I am returning the scope without mounting it because at medium and high power settings the eye box becomes extremely small and any variation from exact centering yields a tan colored haze which I cannot tolerate. I immediately placed it side by side with my tactical Valdada 6-24 x 50. No comparison in image quality. The Valdada was clearer, sharper, and no haze, and a bigger price tag. I know that's a tough test but according to their ad the Counter Sniper is unbeatable. Hope this helps somebody.

Was a little skeptical ...

Was a little skeptical about this scope at first-couldn't get any info on it. But after using it and comparing it with my Tactical Leupold, I'm extremely happy with its performance. The first thing you notice is how much brighter it is than the Leupold. The only thing that bothers me about the scope is how the lens covers are attached to it. Highly recommend this scope.
