A while back, one of my friends gave me a box of these to try out. I loaded them up for my M1 service rifle and took them to a 3x600 high-power match. I shot my highest score to date. These are excellent bullets. A bit expensive, but then again they're not made for blasting. These are definitely not for the casual reloader.

Love the Lapua Bullets! If you havent tried them now's the time. In My 700P I am getting approximately 5 inch Groups at 900 Yards with Remington Brass. Never will change my loader ingredients.

The .308 Scenar 155gr bullet tips were damaged. Other than that, nice bullets. Weight difference .3gr. Not worth the extra price.

This was a very interesting bullet to work with. I'm loading for a custom built .300 RUM with a 30" Lilja barrel. I started at 100 yards and found that the groups got tighter as velocity increased until at 3800 fps I ran into ejector marks on the head of the case, a sign of too high of pressure. In my experiences, the maximum load is rarely the most accurate, but in this case it was and I had groups that were one large ragged hole; this is not a 100 yard gun, so I rule that any group at that range that doesn't look as if a blind man shot it, is a good group. At 300 yards these bullets were less impressive; they did not group as well as my heavy weight bullets. If you look at the ballistics of this bullet when it travels at 3800 fps, there is nothing, not the .338 edge, not the 50 BMG, nothing, that shoots flatter; I just wanted this bullet to work. I threw it out to 600 yards, just to see, and that is where this bullet truly shines. Today I shot a 3.35" group, my new best at that range. After hunting season I will take it out to one thousand yards and see what it'll do. I should note that these are real world groups, not fantasy land stuff; I verify my yardage with a Leica rangefinder and honestly measure my groups. I love these guys that say they're getting .5" groups at 500 yards with an off the shelf Remington, as if it were that easy! reading some of these posts you'd think a new world record was being set every day. get real!

I haven't had a rifle this bullet won't shoot well out of. Literally, not one. It is my go to bullet on every 30 cal rifle I own.

0.43" 3 shot group centered in the bullseye with a 15 mph gusting cross wind at 200 yds, from a 26" Douglas XX air gaged barrel, 1-12 twist. COAL of 2.795 = Gap to the rifling of .090". This bullet seems to like jumping to the rifling as I can shoot this setup all day long with incredible results. BTW: They are great in a X wind as well.300 yds = under 0.75" groupings with the same setup.

Excellent bullet for long range target shooting. With a high B.C.. of .508 and a muzzle velocity over 3000 fps, in a 26 in. barrel, makes a .308 win shoot more like a .300 magnun. Stays super sonic to 1400 yds. This is my 500 yd to 1400yd bullet in the .308 win. Yes, I have used this bullet at 1400yds and its accurate to that distance! Every .308 win. target shooter should try a box or two in their rifle, there is an amazing difference in drop and wind deflection!

The Lapua 155gr Scenar loaded with Re-15 to 2,920fps in my rifle that has a 25" Rock Creek barrel has fired a 3 shot group at 300 yards of 0.825". I like the way this bullet performs. The last 1K match that I used 155 Scenar in I scored 195 10X. My elevation was only 28 MOA over my 100 yard zero.
