A great bullet for competitive shooting or small and medium-sized game, these high-quality cast bullets are composed of 6% antimony, 2% tin and 92% lead with a Brinell hardness of 15. They are rated to 1600 fps without gas checks. The bullet lube is designed for use with smokeless powder, but it will work with blackpowder firearms that have barrels less than 20" long. The alloy is lab text certified before casting. This is not loaded ammunition.

Looking for a light projectile to use with a Mdl 24 S&W for bullseye target work. 4.8gr of HTG push this into sub 2" groups at 25yd. Have yet to test at 50yd but expect good results. Happy happy.

I shoot this bullet in both a 44 magnum and special hand-load. You can't beat this grain in the 44 special case with 7 grains of TrailBoss. Light to no recoil in my ported magnum. A VERY good choice for hand-loading recoil shy shooters. Accuracy is decent for this type of bullet. Loading in magnum brass with Blue Dot or Unique gives excellent results from my 44 Mag carbine, 18" barrel.Only one slight downside, if you can call it that, the bullets have a flush base that shaves lead if you do not have the bullet perfectly aligned on the case before seating. Using the 44 spreader die to open the mouth of the case a couple .001's solves this problem. I use this product extensively on the range and for recoil shy shooters.

160gr. bullets were bought to make S&W 296 Scandium/Titanium hammerless 44 Special snubnose shoot on the sights. 200gr. and 180 gr. bullets shoot high with the heavier bullets shooting highest. The 160's shoot right on the front sight and don't lead at top velocities. Would definitely buy again. Now I don't have to get a higher front sight installed.

These are great for light loads, very little recoil, very accurate. Great for youngsters who may be a little recoil shy. No apparent barrel leading at low velocity.
