Crimson Trace Lasergrips provide a pinpoint accurate laser each time you naturally grip the firearm, no fumbling for switches or buttons. Installation can be done in a matter of minutes because Crimson Trace Lasergrips install exactly like factory grips. The wrap around model laser grips activate when pressure is applied to the side of the grip, offering a solution to shooters with different shooting styles. In the front activation models, Instant activation occurs due to pressure applied by your fingers to the switch located on the forward side of the grip. Rear activation models activate instantaneously due to pressure applied by the palm of your strong hand to the rearward side of the laser grip. Equipped with a master On/Off switch, Crimson Trace Laser Grips save battery and allows use of the firearm without laser. Lasergrips produce a 1/2" dot at 50 feet and are a class IIIa Diode Laser (Non-hazardous to eyes under momentary exposure). The included batteries have a five year shelf life and have a four hour in use life.

Crimson Trace also extends one free set of batteries a year for life when you register you Crimson Trace product on the manufacturers website.

Sweet, sweet, sweet! Fit ...

Sweet, sweet, sweet! Fit perfect on my Springfield and didn't need adjustment. First time out I blew the bullseye out of the target at 40'. Very natural to point and shoot. I love it, and plan on one for all my handguns.

These grips work great ...

These grips work great for what they were intended for. Not good beyond 7 yds in bright daylight, but good at 25 yards once the sun starts setting. Greatly improved my shooting ability. I have large hands so a larger grip would be nice.

WOW These are so cool. ...

WOW These are so cool. I've always been very good w/ a shotgun & pretty good w/ a rifle but never to hot w/ a pistol. Until I found these. Not only does it paint the target it also lets you see your flinching & jerking you never wanted to admit you were doing. All my handguns will be getting one of these installed on them. So much for the credit card bill! My street is about 75 yards long & the dot at the end is very visible to see @ night. I wouldn't miss even @ that range. Factory setting was dead on, I have a S&W 1911 Gov. This model the switch is turned on by your middle finger of your strong hand, right or left hand.

These grips are the ...

These grips are the greatest thing to come along in siting products since the front site. They installed easily and quickly on my Dan Weston P7-S. It took very little calibrating to set them on target. Very fast target acquisition; works even in bright light at 35 ft. and up to 800 yards in dark. This was one of the best investments into my firearm I could make.

This is soooo much ...

This is soooo much betttter than the ones that go in the guide rod that "do not have to be sighted in and calibrated".This product fits and it works. For the money and can't beat the gurantee. So far I have not had to use my guarantee. And I had mine on my 1911 for 3years.

Mine installed easily on ...

Mine installed easily on a Colt 1991A1 pistol -- it needed only very minor modification to make clearance for the extended slide release that I earlier had put on my gun. Also some 1911 copies (like my STI Trojan) will require their frame modified before they can accept any kind of wrap-around grips, keep that in mind.The grip fits the gun well, fits my hand well. The light comes on effortlessly when I grasp the pistol in a normal shooting position, and it works with either hand. That means there's no switch to fiddle with, and also no worry about leaving the laser turned on and running down the batteries.Sighting in the laser, bringing it into registry with the iron sights, can be a bit tricky -- but that seems to be a common trait with most lasers.In my opinion, this is no gimmick. It will be great for close-in shooting, low-light shooting: it's way better than tritium sights. I have no doubt that this is the best and most practical way to add a laser to a 1911 style pistol.
