I shoot these bullets in a 25-06 and 257 Weatherby with excellent accuracy from the bench , both rifles are Rem. 700s stainless and both give consistent 1/2 inch groups at 100 yds. Shoot a max load of 7828ssc in the 25-06 running 3150 fps and a max load of reloader 22 in the 257 Weatherby running 3400 fps. Haven't tried in the field yet can't wait till hunting season.

As a cheaper alternative ...

As a cheaper alternative to developing a load for my Nosler partition base bullets, I tried this bullet. Now it is a staple in my shooting and hunting bullets. This is a fine bullet, consistent performance and priced to allow me to just sit at the range and shoot for the enjoyment of shooting. I use it in my .257 Roberts.

These bullets shoot accurately in my 257 WBY MAG.They are a good alternative to the more expensive bullets.Instant one shot kills, bullets penetrate complete on Texas Whitetails, and stop under skin on Colorado Mule Deer. In 257 they shoot under and inch group at 100 yds.

I shot these bullets with my Ruger 25-06. They grouped well approximatley 1" at 100 yards. My problem with these bullets is the amount of damage the do on impact. I shot two deer with these bullets and the exit wound were about six inches in diameter, and four inches deep. For me that is too much damage.

This is by FAR the most accurate .257 caliber bullet I have used. works especially well in the Winchester super short magnum with h4350 have measured groups at 200 yards as small as .65" inches and at 100 yards ,as small as .32" VERY ACCURATE at lower velocities in my cooper.. have begun using it for bench work on a regular basis.

For my new Rem 700 CDL ...

For my new Rem 700 CDL 25-06, I found these gave me the best groups. 1-1/2 inch at 200 yards, using RL19. I shot 5 deer and one antelope this fall and was very happy with their performance. Far less meat damage than my 30-06. I did hit one deer on the foreleg bone, on exit, and it wrecked most of that front quarter, but I think my 30-06 wouldn't have done any better. All lung shots had smaller exit wounds than I'm used to. I recovered the bullet from my antelope. It travelled diagonally through the animal, hitting no bones, and stopped just under the skin, between two ribs. It mushroomed perfectly retaining 67% of it's weight. I don't think I'll find anything better for this size game.

This is a great bullet for the 25-06. I've used it for over 20 years on coyotes, antelope, mule deer, whitetail deer, blacktail deer, bear, and Roosevelt's and Rocky Mtn elk. Mostly one shot kills with 1.5" exit wounds. Try IMR-4831 and a CCI-250 primer in Federal cases. This load will shoot sub 5" groups at 500 meters with a Rem. Model 700. I dropped a coyote at 630 yards with this load.
