Good grip, tacky, good cushion. I took the advice of a previous reviewer and added friction tape before I installed it. It stays in place perfectly.

The only reason why I gave this item a 4-star rating is that I prefer a tighter-fitting sleeve. However, this sleeve fits the XD 45 perfectly; giving a more pleasant feel to the grip (albeit, slightly spongy) as well as providing clearance from the grip-safety. The finger-grooves are excellent. If you are allergic to latex, you might want to consider that in purchasing this product, as natural latex is included.

On the XDm it fits like a charm, soft, and slightly tacky for a great grip. I blow a grapefruit sized hole out of the middle of my target at 14 yards with a 50 round box of bullets. My only complaint is that it could have used slight palm swells to make an awesome grip completely perfect.

Bought the Pachmayr grip glove for my XD last year, love it. Just got a Taurus PT145 Mil Pro and nobody makes a slip on grip specifically for it. I measured the grip on my XD and it looked to be the same size. So I ordered one. Sure enough it works awesome. Just needed a little trim, maybe a 1/4 inch for the mag to clear.NOTE anybody using a slip on grip, first wrap the grip with friction tape (looks like black electrical tape), then slip on your grip, my grips stick in place like I glued em on.

I had high hopes for the Pachmayr name concerning my Springfield XD9 Sub compact but found that this was not the correct choice for my pistol. I found that the grip engages the grip safety, grabs my clothing upon drawing my pistol, will move itself down and either wont allow the magazine to release properly or covers the hole to where you cannot get a new mag inserted, or it will not clip correctly allowing the mag to fall out if not noticed. I wouldnt recommend these for this particular pistol. I have used Pachmayr's in the past with no issues what so ever but they were full sized semi auto's or revolvers.

My XDm felt great in my hand before the grip, but this slip-on grip made it all the better. It gives it a nice and soft grip, all the while still providing a feeling of control over the firearm. The finger groves make holding my pistol much more comfortable. I recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade the grip of their XDm!
