Nosler Custom Brass was developed to complement their line of custom bullets. Each lot is weight-sorted to provide consistent measurements and capacities for accurate loads and features a Nosler head-stamp. Before shipment, Nosler chamfers and deburrs the case mouths and deburrs the flash hole. Fully prepped and ready to load upon receipt, each piece of brass offers consistency in trimmed length and neck wall thickness. This brass is new and unprimed. This is not loaded ammunition.

Great brass. The only ...

Great brass. The only prep that hasn't been done is primer pocket uniforming. Cases were cut to minimum length, which is okay in my opinion. I cut my once fired brass to the minimum, and forget about it. Very consistent weight. Some case mouths were dinged and dented, but that is to be expected from shipping and handling wear and tear. A little pricey, but overall upper tier brass!!

I like Nosler brass. It is consistently more concentric and closer in weight and thickness than other premium brass I have used. It certainly exceeds the uniformity of ANY factory loaded ammo brass. It produces Measurably better accuracy, unless you are one of those reloading slobs that do everything else so poorly that you have no clue WHAT your cases are doing. Neck tension is very close too, right out of the box. There is little or no prep work that must be done to make this brass shoot exceptionally well. Good Shooting, friends!

Excellent brass! I'm not ...

Excellent brass! I'm not a real serious reloader so I didn't weigh these brass or measure for run out. I as another reviewer was really surprised when I opened the box. The brass already appeared sized and deburred and chamfered. I resized about 25 and they didn't seem like they needed it. The next 25 I reloaded straight out of the box and had zero issues. This brass appears to be just what they say "Ready to Reload". Really great brass for the price. I only wish they made .257 Weatherby, and .270 WSM. Just for comparison I bought some Norma brass in .257 Weatherby and it was really beat up compared to this brass. The Norma brass necks were nicked and out of round there were a couple dented cases and were very tarnished. The Norma brass also costs about double what the Nosler costs.

New 270 Win Nosler Brass (Box of 50). Here are the stats on this box. .9 Grains variance in box on weight, 33 of 50 were within .3 grains (very good)Raw Case Neck Run Out broke down into 5 groups.Zero to .0010=5 cases, .0015=8 cases, .0020=25 cases, .003=11 cases, .004=1 caseIf variation of greater than .0015" to .002" is registered, you will want to look for ways to make the cases more consistent. In this box 38 of 50 pieces require no additional work.I have only given 4 stars since I am a tough reviewer. I would reserve 5 stars for all brass being under 1 grain in weight AND under .0020 case neck run out. Here 24% of the batch was outside these specifications. . I would rate this brass as very good though.

I ordered Nosler because ...

I ordered Nosler because Winchester and Remington were out of stock. The higher cost of Nosler would have normally stopped me from trying them.When I opened the box, I was really surprised. They were not kidding when they said the brass was already prepped.Case mouths are deburred and beveled. Cases appear to have been sized already also.The flash holes have even be deburred. Basically, it appears that they are ready to be primed, charged, and have the bullets seated, right out of the box.

Nosler Custom Brass weighed very similar. All within 1 grain. The wall thickness was within .0015. I will buy more of this brass in different calibers. Great Product

I purchased 3 boxes of ...

I purchased 3 boxes of Nosler 270 Win brass. The first thing I noticed was the case mouths were raggedly cut and uneven. Then, after measuring, I found that they had all been cut to 2.520 inches which is the minimum length for a 270 case. So that leaves you with the ragged edged brass which is to short to be trimmed. The next thing I found was that the primers would not seat flush with the case, they protruded 2 -4 thousandths. I reloaded Remington brass and Hornady brass, both new, with the same press and the same primers, Winchester, and Hornady did not have a problem. I doubt seriously that I will buy any more Nosler brass.
