Replaced the standard pad on my saiga 12's ace stock. Major difference. Shooting sessions last a lot longer with this pad.

This is a great addition to the arfx-e "shorty", it adds just enough to LOP. Along with being very comfortable, soft enough to do the job but not to much so. I have not put enough rounds down range with it to be able to comment on issues with the plastic washer but could see how it may be an issue...

The pad is great, but on ...

The pad is great, but on an AR, the heat and gasses blowing back into the stock tube has destroyed the plastic washer that is imbedded in the pad itself. If they switched the plastic washer out for an aluminum or plain old steel washer, this pad/design would be pretty close to perfect. I should add that this malfunction happened on a rifle that is generally babied, and I have not dropped the rifle on the buttstock or smashed anything with it. Very light range use only.Aside from that, the pad is very soft and comfy and I like it very much overall, and the skeleton stock that it attaches to is just phenomenal. I can't understand why anyone would want a chincy M4 or other telescopic stock when there's the ARFX-E. The thing is built like a tank and balances an "M4gery" perfectly.

I found the internally molded mounting washers split easily since these were plastic. Once they crumbled, the pad cannot reliably stay mounted. The pad itself was very good, but the mounting design needs to be improved.

Works great with the ACE ...

Works great with the ACE "shorty" stock on FNH TPS shotgun. I found this combination very comfortable with this light shotgun. I had another one for over a year on an AR without any problems.
