Frankford Arsenal Ammunition Boxes are great for storing reloaded or factory loaded ammunition. Available in a variety of sizes to fit most calibers and various see-through colors for easy identification of different loads. These plastic boxes offer the shooter a higher level of protection than cardboard ammunition boxes and will protect ammunition from dust, dirt and rain. Convenient slip-top design accommodates longer cartridges and allows quiet operation in the field.

Super value and good fit for most rifle ammo. Can go to the field many times and never wear out, like those cardboard boxes you get with factory ammo. The slip top forms a slight air seal which you can feel when you open the box. This keeps it from accidently opening and spilling all your ammo. It's also quicker to get to your ammo than the boxes.

They work, but the quality is fair. Had a box of mine crack and spit out a chunk of plastic on one end when dropped. Have had troubles with others where the molded-in stop on the ends didn't stop the lid and it seated down too far. I'd probably look at MTM in the future-better quality stuff.

I use many of the sizes offered by Midway for a variety of calibers . The boxes hold up for many years and work just as well as some of the more expensive ones that I have tried . I will order more of them if the ones I have now ever wear out . I also like the different colors so I can color code different loads to different boxes .

The only reason I am giving this one star is because I can't give it zero.I have been using Frankford Arsenal boxes for years and have been very happy.This is a new experience. It is made in China. I do not see that on any of my other FA boxes.The illustration shows translucent boxes. This box however is totally BLACK. You can't see through it with a flashlight.That doesn't really matter however because It has no finger cutouts to allow you to grip the inside part of the box and slip the top off. I bought ten of these. I have not yet been able to figure out how to open the first one. The lid slips over the box part and exactly covers it. There is no way to get a grip on the inside and pull it out.I even tried blowing compressed air into the gap but it wouldn't work.The product is # 209 Grey.I consider it very unsatisfactory.

I guess the "slip top" description isn't clear enough for some folks. Of course the top slips off. That's the design, and these work as well as other brand slip top boxes. The 20 round size can be more convenient to carry, and rubber bands or masking tape will keep 'em closed securely for storage, handling, and transport.

Did not work well for ...

Did not work well for 308Win, I think because they are too long for this case. The lid does not seat well (deep) enough. If you pick it up near the ends, the lid flips "over the end" (just like in the picture) and cartridges fall everywhere. I have ordered the 509 with a positive locking lid. Maybe the 210 boxes are deeper, and would be a better choice? This is the only Midway product I've been dissappointed with.

The lid slips off too easily causing ammo to spill. I had to use a rubber band as a fix.Also the boxes are not stackable making packing and storage more difficult.If the top locked in such a way as to be easily snapped open it would be a great product.

No complaints - holds my 308 cartridges fine. Maybe it would be nice if they snapped shut, but what the hey - they are a little over $1 a piece.

Total junk - I'm glad I only bought one, and it's in the trash. The top will NOT stay on the box, dumping the rounds everywhere. Poor design - the base/lid should be at least 1/2" TALLER, so the two will stay together when filled. MIDWAY, fix this or take it out of your catalog. I'd return it, but it would cost more than it's worth. DEFECTIVE PRODUCT.
