Excellent for use in the tumblers. Does a good job on the brass and is easy to use. Can be used many times before needing to be replaced. Will mix well with the brass polish. Only problem is it gets a slight static cling inside the cases occasionally. This causes some to remain in the case and needs to be swabbed or blown out before adding powder.

Interesting that you should "ask" at this time. I just said to my wife last night that I was not happy with the new media.I founds that is is too fine, and also "dusty". It does not clean as well as the courser media I used to buy from you.(Before Frankford)But all you sell now is Frankford. The green Lyman media is really great.I would not buy this again, and would happily send it back for exchange for Corn cob media.I bought it because it was a great value for the money, but obviously, I was wrong.

For the people complaining about the fine dust. Make sure your tumbler has a lid that seals. Treat your walnut with brass polish. If you wipe your cases after tumbling, just put them on a large bath towel, fold up the corners and roll it around on flat surface.

If I could give it a "0" I would have. This stuff does clean the cases good but it makes a mess with dust from the media. I have been loading for 30 years and I have never had media that did this before. The only way I can keep the dust from getting all over my workship, is to pre-tumble it outside for about 4hours. However this does not stop it from getting all over my tumblers, which I have to clean, so the dust does not get into the workings. Which is just another step added to the reloading process. After your cases have been tumbled you have to clean the fine dust off of them before you can use them, even if you pre-tumble. This adds yet another step. Yea, the stuff is a good price right now, and even though I am retired even my time is worth something. I think the whole problem is the media is ground too thin. The other brand, which is not ground as fine, does not do this. Oh yea, don't forget your paying for about 20% dust.Vince V

Reloaded for years and never owned a Case Tumbler. Today I polished 100 .257 "Bob" cases with the Walnut Media. In two hours I had excellent cases! Very pleased. Didn't see "dust" or such and no clogged primer flash hole. Great product.

This product is incredibly dusty. Fine powder residue is left on all cases which must be removed before the cases can be reloaded. Extremely disappointed with this product considering I now have two bags of effectively worthless media. Will NOT be purchasing this media again.

Tried this media for the first time last evening. Boy, is it ever fine and dusty; Poured it into the separator and created a big cloud of dust...then had to wipe down each case individually after tumbling. I'll stick to corncob.

I recently bought this product and was disappointed to find that it produced a disgusting brown and powdery dust cloud that truly fouled my reloading room and clogged my window air conditioner filter. This is honestly the worst experience I have had with any media ever! Used RA polish as I always have and had some clumping problems that I also never previously encountered. Will pay more for RCBS product next time.

This stuff is DUSTY! I cannot believe that FA would release this product with such poor quality control! I've wasted near a 1/4 of the product trying to just remove the dust by pouring it between two buckets.

I like this stuff it works great. I like how fine walnut media is, it doesnt clog up cases and cleans great. Sure it is a little dusty I throw a couple dryer sheets in with mine each load and they collect excess dust. Anytime you have a product that is made from crushing things there will be dust involved. It is a great product that works. If your leery of the dust buy a smaller quantity first and see if you like it. Im telling you the dryer sheet trick is AMAZING...

Corn husk media works ...

Corn husk media works twice as fast without the dust. You will have to clean the brass after you clean it with this product. The dust is really bad. I will NOT buy again.
