The Caldwell Low-Profile E-Max Electronic Earmuffs combines great circuitry with a low profile earcup that's ideal for shotgun shooters and action shooters. The two microphones in the E-Max amplify sounds below 85 decibels, which amplifies normal communication, range commands, and environmental sounds. Above 85 decibels, the microphones shut off for a split second to protect the shooter's hearing. The E-Max Low-Profile Earmuffs are now available in pink, to accomodate all the lady shooters out there.

I bought two pairs of these muffs and both have ended up in the trash. They are noisey (static) from day one. They go through batteries like Sherman on his way to Atlanta, and within two months they did not work at all. The Howard Lieght models are far better!

All-around Great

I bought this on a hunch a while back and have been "nothing"but pleased ever since.They do just what they say they will.I can hear the range officer when he speaks,or the fellow beside me when he wants my attention,and when the big guns go off they are hardly noticeable.You don't come out of your seat or concentration mode, because the supression is so quick you are not spooked. I'm ordering a couple more fore when I take company to the range.

Nice for the price

I bought 2 pair, 1 for myself and another for a gift. I have used them at the range worked well, and I used them to hunt, when hunting it was nice to turn the volume up and I was able to hear things I couldn't hear before but when I fired it was nice to not have my ears ringing afterwards. Worth what you pay, I am ordering 2 more pair for my kids to use at the range!

This product will work for a small cal rifle BUT NOT FOR larger cal's. Would not buy this product.
