Product Information

Speer offers a variety of reloading bullets ideal for hunters, plinkers and varminters. Speer Varmint Hollow Point bullets feature a hollow cavity at the point which upon impact is forced opened with rapid expansion. The Result is less penetration but tremendous damage due to the larger diameter of the bullet. These bullets are ideally suited for varmint hunting applications. This is not loaded ammunition.

"ALL" small varmints fall to this bullet in all the 22's that I have hand loaded. Reaches out and touches them.

I am a novice reloader and this bullet groups sub MOA in my howa 22-250. I weighed 10 and 6 out of the 10 were 51.9 grains and the other 4 were 52 grains. That is great in my book. I have had 3 out of the 100 in the box have a small ball of copper stuck to the inside of the jaket but it doesnt seem to the effect accuracy. I cant wait till we get a good snowfall so i can go chase some coyotes and see how it performs.

A very accurate bullet in my Ruger #1 22-250. Tried several other bullets including the fancy polymer tipped kind, but nothing came close to the groups I can get with these. Highly recommended.

These bullets will tear up any groundhog.Very accurate in my 220 swift and 22-250.The most accurate hp that I have used.I've used other hollowpoints with the smaller diameter hole and the accuracy of these speers are superior.

I used this bullet/load (at 3000 fps) in my 18" AR and this weekend I took 7 coyotes ranging from 15yds to 350yds, I 100% agree that this bullet is great on coyotes, I switched from Blackhills 68 grs match points, they would destroy the pelt on exit. Thanks for reading

Loaded with Varget my 10 year old Granddaughter killed a nice 100 lb doe with one shot at 100 yards. Bullet was recovered and had mushroomed perfectly, still weighing 40 grains! Deer dropped in its tracks from a chest shot.

Very accurate in my 22-250, and old Rem. 788. I hunt coyotes, and have shot them form 15 yards to over 250 yards. It makes a 22 caliber hole going in and does not come out, they fall in their tracks. I reload with 35.5 to 36 grains or IMR 4895. In my gun it chroines @ 3950fps
