Used properly this is an ...

Used properly this is an excellent sighting system. It should be treated gently. Do not allow the slide to drop on the arbor. Ease it closed. Use a large flat ramrod to gently push the arbor from the barrel. Do not push directly on the laser lens. I use it to sight in my 1911's at about 20 yards. It works great.
