Despite what the blogs may say, if you are building a LR 308 you should use a bolt catch built for the 308 v. the AR 15. This one works as intended. Nothing fancy nor would I consider this a "must have" for any custom build. There are not a lot of choices for a LR 308 bolt catch so DPMS was my selection.

Needed this as a replacement for my CMMG .308 SASS. This part seems larger and fits the lower receiver better. The part included with my rifle bent and was a pain to remove. This part dropped right in and has been functioning perfect since.
