Great product - my M500 ...

Great product - my M500 is 7+1 and if I accidently tried to put 8rds into the magazine, the spring would over-compress and jam the weapon. This solved the issue and prevents the spring from binding up. Also, the orange follower makes identifying an empty mag much easier.

Ordered 2 of these. Installed one in a brand new Maverick 88, and the other in an older Mossberg 835. Installation for both was easy.

Solid product, but will ...

Solid product, but will require trimming if you want to maintain your magazine at capacity, since the peg is >1" long. It fits nicely in the 930, but reduced the magazine count to six instead of seven. However, it is much better than the factory steel follower and a Wolff spring will add some extra punch as well...

I would recommend this product. Easy to see if gun is loaded and also cuts down on noise when you load the magazine. It stuck in the tube at first but now works just fine.

Shipped quickly. I have a 930, so getting the mag tube off was a pain. Anyways, got it off, installed new follower, still could fit 4 in the tube. After testing functionality I cleaned the firearm. I took the mag tube off to clean the threads one last time and when I reinstalled it, the follower got pushed out so that the elevator couldn't move up. The plastic got shaved or something. Had to go back to the original.

Easy to install and works smoothly but I had to change the length of my water fowl plug to be able to fit 2 shells in the magazine. Wish I'd known that before I bought it. Actually shortened the "stem" of the Choate part by half but still needed to change the plug length.

I easily installed this item with item 143847 purchased at the same time. Very good fit. At a quick glance, I can tell if and when the magazine is empty.

Great follower - bright and easy to install. I like the fact that it keeps the mag spring from being over-compressed. 4 stars because I couldn't fit two 3" turkey loads in my Mossberg mag tube on opening morning, but a little cutting on the mag plug will solve that issue. This plug does make it a lot easier to tell when the mag tube is empty!
